This has three different size threads and when you reduce it to fit the sensor it does not fit Chevy small blocks

It is very difficult to replace the oil sending unit on a 5.3 Chevy Silverado. This extension raised it up enough so it is much easier. It also has the 1/8 pipe thread hole to connect a manual gauge if you like. It doesn't come with a 1/8 pipe plug if you aren't planning to run another gauge. Just so you know.
