This was to replace an after market unit. It works so much better and shows constant 60 # the old one fluctuated to much.

I bought two of these as I have two engines hesitated all summer last year without knowing what oil pressure had but I had both engines rebuilt so I knew I had oil pressure. I purchased some cheap ones on Amazon and they did not work both of them Went to 80psi all the time.Just replaced one engine tonight started it up and now I have oil pressure all because that $19 sending unit my bad do not waste your time and money on the cheap oil sending just buy OEM

I used this on my Mercruiser 525SC engine (Chevy big block) with an 80 psi gauge after going through two other aftermarket senders that were DOA. This sender is at least twice the price, but totally worth the money because you only have to install it once. Now the oil pressure gauge works perfectly.
