I bought this unit hoping the manufacturer wasnt a scumbag but it ended up being true. This unit lasted 2 weeks then began majorly leaking oil. The manufacturer knows they are selling cheap worthless pieces of crap but rather than spending the few extra pennies that it would take to make it a quality unit they'd rather screw people around and fatten their bank accounts! I'm out the money spent on this unit, the new oil I had to buy and my time! DO NOT buy this unit unless you're ok with it failing shortly after install!

Installed easily. My check guages light is no longer on. Make sure you double check your connector before ordering. Luckily mine was perfect match.

Easy to install on my 2002 Dodge Ram 1500, took about 10 minutes and It solved my issue with my oil gauge dropping. Also spend the extra $8 for the socket that is sold for it. Without that you’ll never get it it off if you don’t have one.

Once the old sensor was removed, installing this new one was a piece of cake. Trying to remove the old sensor was difficult because contrary to the YouTube videos that show its removal, there is a very small clip on the wiring pigtail that no one mentioned. My 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 with 5.9 V-8 had likely never had the sensor removed. Incidentally, the retaining clip for the wiring pigtail is directly above the red plastic clip positioned horizontally. The red plastic clip has to be unlocked before the pigtail will pull off of the sensor. It will slide sideways about 1/8" to unlock it. If you want a look at the way the two wiring harness retainers are positioned, you should Google it.

Bought this in hopes it would resolve my issue with the oil pressure gauge in my 2002 Ram 1500 4.7L V8, and it did. It was supper easy to remove and install. Probably took all of about 10 minutes to do. Now my oil pressure gauge is working again. I can't comment to its longevity, as I have only been running the truck a few times since installing this, while I fix other issues.
