used it on my 95 cherokee and AW4. i removed a torx screw where the Toyotas put a stock sensor and installed this guy. then after threading my temp reader this works perfect along with a glowshift trans temp gauge

Was installing on a aw4 for a transmission temp guage. Threads gave no indication of being tight or snug, and it snapped off inside the transmission case. now the fun part of fishing the broken threads out.

Busted off oil pressure sensor in upper pan. Couldn't get it extracted. Drilled it, tapped it and threw this in. Works like a charm and saved me one hell of a repair. Make sure you use a magnet to pull all the metal shavings out of the pan that you can and sacrifice 2 oil changes and filters to ensure any metal flakes get out if you find yourself in my shoes.

If your looking to install a transmission temperature sensor, this is the adapter you need to install in the test port. Quality part and fits perfectly in my 97 XJ

Needed this adapter to fit into the sideOf my aw4 transmission on my Jeep to plump a transmission temp gauge and it worked amazing! No leaks on threads just make sure to use thread sealant on the sensor going into it

I bought a trany temp gauge set the had no adapters included to install the 1/8" temp sensor to the transmission. The best place to measure trany temp is at the trany and on my 95' Jeep Cherokee there is a T55 torx plug next to the dip stick tube that is made for temp sensors And the treads are metric 14x1.5. Good luck finding any adapter to fit this anywhere but here, this is your fix. It was a tight fit but it got the job done...

The adapter fit perfectly. The adapter was used for a Suzuki Sidekick 1.6L 16v fuel rail. The Motorcraft Schrader valve CM3461 that is "commonly purchased " with this adapter doesn't fit. It is too small. I had to source the correct Schrader valve from Riff Raff diesel shop.
