Works perfectly. Used in a situation where a PIR wall light switch wouldn’t have worked. Allowed me to place it where it would have full coverage of the room.

It’s nice pulling into your garage and having your lights come on.

It seems to be very sensitive. Maybe too much sensitivity for a small porch, even at the low setting. But it works great and was simple to install.

Great operation but not typical mounting style or size. Extra trim pieces will need to be made or purchased.

Has been working flawlessly so far. I installed it about 6 months ago in the garage to control the lights. My wife loves it. Just walk in and the lights turn on. It seems to work much more reliable than the type integrated into switches. I was able to position it in the center of the garage so it senses motion from any direction. You walk into the garage, the lights come on, you pull the car in, the lights go on. I've never had them shut off on me while I was still in the garage. Also it drives a standard relay so it can drive any type of load. Mine drives LED lights perfectly.

Excellent product works great at 8'-10' comes with options for high up to 50' lens and low 10' or less. (didn't use high bay lens) Easy to install in open 1/2" electrical knockout. SB Ceiling mounted but would also work vertical just not as effective. They comes with all mounting hdw. Can easily set to various ambient light sensitivity and range as well as time on settings from 5 to 30 minutes at 5 minute intervals. Most important for me was being able to wire several to same lights to expand coverage. It wasn't clear in Amazon Description but it worked great for our big shop. with 2 in an area 50'X30' there is no dead spots. More could be added to cover areas around corners or if there are obstructions like high shelving. Also like the fact that they cant be tripped through thermal glass windows separating different areas. May also work in single pane windows however, I can not attest to that. Only issue I ran into was mounting directly to single bulb ceramic light fixture (Mounted to 1-1/2" oct metal box) the device interfered with mounting fixture I justed extended form mounting box a few inches.

Works great, very easy to mount and wire, I'm operating a 20W LED light fixture with itBelow are remarks about some previous reviews."I found out after buying this item that you can reconfigure the 1/2" nipple to come off of the top of the device rather than the side." You can also remove the back box and mount it directly to the surface with 2 screws which I did."Installed this sensor today, and I am disappointed! The light sensitivity adjustment does not work well, and the range is very short." Yours sounds like it is defective. Mine works great under approximately the same circumstances. I would have Amazon replace it."The other misled is the time delay feature. The 15 second setting is only for testing. You can leave at this interval, but the next level would be 5 min to 30 min at 5 min increment. There is no setting between 15 second and 5 min." True, just 15 sec or , 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 minutes. But as long as you are moving in the area it stays on and when you stop moving it goes off at the delay that you have set it for. Right now I have left mine set at 15 seconds and while working in the area it stays on which is all that is required. If this doesn't end up meeting my requirements I will change it to 5 minutes or more.

Update: Failed just one day after my return window closed. At around 2AM in the morning it started turning on and off repeatedly without any trigger. One day later fails to register any motion. Will now have to follow up on the two year warranty but i'm not holding my breath...Typical passive infrared (PIR) occupancy sensor that is easy to set up and wire. Adjustable time settings are 15 seconds, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 20 minutes, and 30 minutes. Really wish they had 1 minute as 15 seconds is too short and 5 minutes is much too long. Didn't test the ambient light settings that much (cool feature that won't turn on the lights if the sensor detects enough ambient light). Did change the sensitivity down to 50% (either 50 or 100% sensitivity). The kit included another lens and some pie shaped stickers so that you could 'blind' the sensor to certain unwanted triggers (IE sunlight, window, adjacent space, heater vent, etc). The wiring has a black (hot) neutral (white) and red that goes to the load. Underneath the cover they have two screw holes or you can use the threaded nut connection and washer to affix the stem on the backside through a material such as drywall or plywood. Conveniently the stem also has some thread for 1/2" flexible conduit so no adapter would be needed just in case the application required conduit. Literature lists a two-year warranty. Using this sensor in a walk-in closet for hands free activation and no worry automatic shut off.
