I use these “driveway monitors” on three properties. At my home, I used them outside and inside the gate to alert me to visitors, but I also use them in a mountain location to be alerted to wildlife. And at my office.I’ve tried about every decent product out there over the past five or 10 years. Definitely the solar products seem to work really well and eliminate the transmitters from just randomly stopping working and you having to figure that out and then go change batteries.However, this emacros product has become my absolute favorite. Because of the Wi-Fi integration of the receiver, and solar powered transmitters. Wi-Fi integration is a great touch. Where you can control the receiver, ringtones, etc. from your phone. You can also get alerts to your phone, which is nice for me when I am away from the mountain property. All the other solar products I have used are audible only notifications from the receiver itself. That basically won’t work at all if you’re away from the receiver, or if you would like to turn the receiver tone off to not bother other people in your household.That Wi-Fi integration was a no-brainer to me, because the receiver is typically installed inside a house. But I still have not seen any other manufacturers do that yet.Some other nice things about this product is that they come pre-programmed. Transmitter to receiver. So they work out of the box. Some of the others you have to jump through some fairly poor programming that is not really user-friendly.And lastly, I did have some issues with one of my receivers after I ordered them. I gave the manufacturer a chance and reached out to them first. It took a minute, but they responded and shipped me a new product immediately. I very much appreciate that level of service.At the moment, I think these are the best on the market. And a very fair price.Cheers, Matt

For the last three years I've had two of these at various points along my long, gravel driveway. Recently one of them started acting up, and I had to replace it. That's an excellent service life for a reasonably-priced, plastic product that spends its life in the hot desert sun most of the year, and in snow in the winter.The solar recharging has worked perfectly, in that I've never had to recharge or change the batteries, and they've never been dead.As PIR (passive infrared) sensors, they are not infallible — for example electric vehicles don't emit enough heat to be detected — but they are reliable enough for our needs.

Have used this product for about 16 months now with no complaints about the performance. Exactly what we were looking for. A few months ago the charging adaptor cord must have gotten bumped, for the indoor receiver. After that we had to just run on batteries as the usb connecter inside the receiver was broken. A quick calculation determined that running just on the batteries was not economically a wise move. We reached out to eMACROS about our issue and they were very prompt about getting back to us. After they thought about our situation they decided to replace our indoor receiver at no cost to us. Our new receiver arrived promptly and works well. Great product and service!

I'd bought 2 different styles of eMacros receivers with 4 detectors each. These detectors typically lasted 2 to 2-1/2 years before they either stopped working or began false signaling when nothing was there. Their maximum range was 25 feet.When the 2nd set stopped working for 3 of the 4 detectors, I ordered another 4 detectors. When they arrived, NONE of them worked with the original eMacros receivers. I could tell that the detectors were otherwise working because two of the frequency setting are set up to turn on a red light on the outdoor detector itself, and this red light turned on when I stood in front of them. But the receiver inside of my house didn't sound at all. The last working detector from the old set of 4 detectors still made the indoor receiver sound as usual, but it didn't sound with any of the new detectors on any of the 4 frequency settings. Each frequency setting is supposed to make a different sound at the indoor receiver so you can tell which detector had signaled an alarm.So now I have a working indoor eMacros receiver but the new eMacros detectors don't talk to it.I'm out the cost of 4 new eMacros detectors, and have 2 eMacros receivers that are useless without detectors that both function AND talk to the eMacros receivers.

was super easy to setup out of the box. works perfectly, almost no false alarms. signal has no problem going thru/around a tree or two and shed and thru a metal building where the receiver is located. Once app is installed- notifications to phone work perfectly too. Will likely buy more sensors in the future to watch other entrances on our property or perhaps add a 2nd sensor farther down the driveway so we can tell the difference between a car going up driveway as opposed to a random hit from one of the pets (supports up to 4 per receiver)

Reliable and Versatile Driveway Alarm SystemThe eMACROS Pro 3 Driveway Alarm is a solid, reliable system that works well for monitoring driveways and outdoor spaces. The long-range capability (1/2 mile) is impressive and holds up even in more challenging terrains. Setup was straightforward, and the solar power feature ensures minimal maintenance, which I appreciate. The motion sensor is sensitive but not overly so, reducing false alarms.The phone app integration is a standout feature, allowing me to receive alerts wherever I am, which adds convenience and peace of mind. It’s also weatherproof, so I don’t worry about it during storms or extreme weather conditions.The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that there can occasionally be a slight delay in notifications, but overall, this is a great product for enhancing security around your property. I highly recommend it for anyone needing a reliable outdoor alarm system.

I’ve installed 5 sensors and three receivers on my acreage. Because there are four channels I now know if cars or people are coming up the driveway or around the house or shop. I left a receiver in the shop so any potential thief will hear the alarm when they approach.I highly recommend Emarcos alarms.
