Bought for me and my boyfriend to try because we love watching all the finds on shows even if it’s not worth anything. It’s fun to see what people’s lost and getting it out of the water. Gloves don’t seem to be the best but I plan on getting some for myself and a different pair for my boyfriend. The magnet is very strong and the rope is of good quality. Excited for it to warm up and see what we can find

Before I bought this one I tried another brand of fishing magnet rated at 1200 lbs, which was so weak it could not pick up small every day metal objects. This one (I got the largest one), however, is incredibly strong - like it probably does have its advertised pulling power because I stuck it to my welding bench top and could not remove it without sliding it off the edge, which was by itself very difficult to do because the magnet pull is so strong. Very impressed with this magnet.

I ordered this for my adult grandson. He is an avid outdoorsman so I wasn't sure if he would like this. He did. He loved the concept of it, it is so simple. It is easy to travel with. Workmanship is great. This is a gift that would be good for all ages.
