Saw a tv show where 2 dudes were mag fishing off a bridge. In Washington State there plenty of bridges to fish from. I put the largest on my pellet stove on top, and a heck of a time of job to get it off. Anyway there fun to play around with. Purchased all 3 and they definitely are magnets. I recommend. Can’t beat the price.Thank You

I purchased this to hold a 20oz piece of acrylic up through another 3/16'' piece of acrylic. It slowly slides down the item. I attached a piece of steel to the item to use the magnet on, (before someone tells me acrylic isn't magnetic). This should hold this item up. Definitely not what they say it is. I guess I will purchase one with a higher weight rating from someone else and see if I have better luck.

This very strong magnet arrived well packed in foam within a box and required only screwing the screw-eye onto the magnet. We tried it one time on a piece of steel and found that it is VERY strong for its small size. However, beware, it also cracked the first time we used it. I understand that it's a ceramic material, distinct from "normal" AlNiCo magnets, but I wonder how well it will perform over time when used for "fishing". After cracking it is still holding together within the housing, but who knows when it's used many times.

After using this product maybe 3-4 times the rope started to fray on the end clipped to the magnet. And then after about 5-7 uses, we turned it over to check the magnetic part for any treasures, and was so bummed and unhappy to see that the magnet had cracked from 1 edge completely across the middle (nut &bolt) to the other edge, as well as a 2nd crack from the middle (nut & bolt) to the edge. Kind of a "Y" shape. I haven't really had the time to contact seller in the amount of time allowed or to even leave a review till now. But I do hope the same thing doesn't happen to another customer, maybe I just got a weak, defective one by chance. Good luck!!!
