Works great. Lost some items off our dock from hurricane Helene. One was a 4” steel pipe 16’ long. Magnet found the pipe and we got it to shore. Would buy again. Made to contact a flat area. Any other shape the lift strength is cut down.

I haven't been able to use yet but everything was included and packed well. I can't wait to see what it will find. It might be a fight between magnet or metal detector.

No joke, brought out for first time today with my son.Got it stuck on a pier. Couldn’t pull off.Went back to the car and grabbed tire iron to pry off from the eye hook.The strength of this thing is wild. Great product is all I have to say.

The magnet itself is quite strong, almost couldn't get it off the steel leg of the dock I was fishing off of. The case is pretty good, rope okay. Difficult to fit the entire rope back into the case after using it.Pulled in a 1/2 socket ratchet on first couple throws!

Bought 2 of these for my son and I. Seems like a good sturdy kit. If your fishing in an area with lots of large debris in the water then buy the heavy magnet as you don’t have it pop off as much. I put the grapple hook and the magnet on and drug up a shopping cart with it. But you also run the risk of having it get stuck on things on the bottom you can’t drag up. I’d buy this again and is a good past time to get my son away from the Xbox.

We had so much fun last summer with this in our lakes, rivers and creeks. Can’t wait to take it out this summer again. Didn’t find anything of value or useful yet but still super fun.Just be careful if you use it on a boat ramp, they often have metal sides and this magnet sticks to it like crazy. Husband was strong enough to slide it off thankfully when we got it stuck. Lol

This turned out to be a surprisingly helpful purchase.... I have a long deep water pier and boat that always seems to need some kind of maintenance. Over the years, I've dopped a tool or two and always struggled to retrieve the item with a net, with varying degrees of success. I decided to give this a try.First off, its a very nicely manufactured item in a very nice storage box. The magnet itself is very well machined and finished. Its quality is excellent. It comes with a long nicely braided rope with attached carabiner (did I spell that right?). It also comes with a small bottled of thread-lock, gloves and a small grappling hook.And goodness, this magnet is strong. I do worry that if I ever inadvertently attached it to the side of a flat metal cabinet that I might not be able to get it off.The great news for me is that within a week after receiving the magnet it helped me retrieve a small flagpole and a tiny AC power connecting bracket that fell in the water. The cost saved (and more importantly, the time saved) more than paid for the magnet.
