About this item

  • Optimal Watering Efficiency: Features .65 GPH emitters @ 25 PSI every 9 inches. Designed and recommended for operating pressure range between 10 to 25 PSI, ensuring efficient and uniform root zone watering.
  • The MICROLINE dripline maxmium recommended length from the supply line is 16’ for a 6” spacing, 22’ for a 9” spacing and 28 feet for the 12” spacing. Longer the length, lower is the watering uniformity along the drip line
  • Universal Fitting Compatibility: The dripline accepts all standard and brands of ¼” barb fittings, providing flexibility and ease in setting up and extending the system across various garden types.
  • Ideal for Dense and Narrow Planting: Designed for vegetable gardens, window boxes, flower beds, box gardens and can be looped around trees and hedges or where total saturation desired along the drip line path using the 6” spacing.
  • Innovative Dual-Outlet Emitters: Each emitter is equipped with a twin-outlet design to reduce clogging, maintaining consistent water delivery and system reliability.
  • Durable, Eco-Conscious Material: Constructed from UV-protected polyethylene, safe for edible plants, and robust for long-term outdoor use, potentially qualifying for conservation initiatives.

Extremely versatile and flexible, DIG's 1/4 inch Micro Drip Line presents key advantages over other irrigation methods, utilizing low cost, small diameter drip line that can be used in any part of the garden for a water-efficient drip irrigation system. The micro drip line's cylindrical labyrinth-like drip emitters are built into the interior wall of the 1/4" micro tubing at 6 inch, 9 inch, or 12 inch spacing. The micro drip line can be installed in a wide range of above ground application layouts, or used under mulch or bark to conserve water or for aesthetic reasons. The drip line is designed to be extended from the drip tubing or micro tubing using a 1/4 inch barb, or attached into DIG's four- or six- outlet drip manifolds. The drip line can be used in planter boxes, vegetable gardens, window boxes, box gardens, looped around individual plants or tree, in narrow paths of planting area, or where total saturation is desired along the drip line path, while eliminating discoloration of fences, windows, and walls due to water staining.

Pretty solid build quality but also somewhat flexible. Been out in the sun for about 6 months and doesn't show signs of UV damage. Pretty solid product with good water flow.

This year, my big yard project has been installing drip irrigation in the many perennial beds around my property. This emitter line is high quality and works just as it should. It’s sturdy and easy to cut to fit your needs. If you are installing misters or sprinkler heads, be sure to dip the cut ends of this tubing in almost boiling water before fitting them into the sprinkler heads to save your fingers and ensure a good fit so that the sprinkler heads don’t pop off when you turn the water on (so frustrating!)… I had to learn this the hard way and discovered the hot water trick from watching YouTube videos. Good product at a competitive price.

By more then you think you will need cause the lines have to be close together 5” spacing works great for my veggies, I found that if you circle tomatoes plants (and blueberries) 3 times they will get enough water with a timer set for about an hour definitely saves on the water bill

The tube is tough to insert into the connecter. I have used 90C hot water but it is still difficult to work with. I got a good result by using a heat gun. I also purchased and installed Rain Bird's 1/4" emitter tube, which is a bit softer and earlier to work. Overall, this DIG's emitter tube quality is pretty good.

Waters my large garden all at once, great quality. Removes the majority of labor required to consistently water plants. Also saves water. Great for desert gardening

This Dripline tubing at a 1/4" with 6" spacing is perfect for placing around small tree trunks such as my Limelight Hydrangea and other small flower plants in my garden. The beauty of this type of emitter is you can make several circles around the plant if it needs lots of water like hydrangeas or you can make them small to fit under a Coleus plant with a small stem. 100' sounds like a lot but you'd be surprised how fast it can be used in your garden.

This was my second year using this dripline in my raised garden beds. I didn't properly winterize my drip irrigation after 2022, and still only had to replace about 5% of the lines for 2023. This line works great for my vegetable garden.

Our experience with porous drip line is that it clogs up after a season or so. This drip line continues to work over several seasons. In ten years I haven't had any clog up yet.

I have been using for a tree ring to water my fruit and nut trees. Seems to be better than spraying during our current drought as no water is blown away by the wind.

The emitters are not well-matched with each other so some give out much more water than others, but as an overall soaker hose for rows of vegetables it is satisfactory.
