The tubing is manufactured to take up to 60 PSI however it is not rated for constant pressure. Poly irrigation tubing is slightly more rigid than vinyl tubing. We recommend heating tubing in the sun to make it softer. It will be manipulated and formed into place much easier after warming.

This tubing is too rigid to handle and doing a large project with multiple install points is time-consuming and cumbersome. We've done drip irrigation projects before and this was by far the worst 1/4" tubing we've tried.

This is the good stuff. Heat the ends slightly with a small torch or lighter before inserting barb. Shrinks back down for a fantastic seal.

OK, I have been using 1/4" drip tubing for years on different parts of my yard. I finally ran out of some tube I have been very happy with and was disappointed that Amazon did not offer my previous stock tubing, so I decided to try this "USA Made" tube as a hopeful replacement brand. - Nope, this is not what you need...This tube is so stiff even direct sunlight will NOT allow the tubing to relax, it stays coiled up no matter how long it is left in the sun. Also, I wish you a lot of luck getting any (I have several brands) of 1/4" fittings to fully insert into this tube. If you are very strong you can get the first fitting capture ring inside the tube but FORGET getting the second capture ring inside. Just ain't going to happen. Your language control will be sorely tested when attempting to connect to ANY fittings. Nope, not pleased with this product. I stored the leftover tube from this installation effort in round file 13...

It’s stiffer than the rubber stuff but works great, is just as easy to work with and made in the USA
