Works well but more pressure drop than 1/4". So if you're trying to water over long distances or a lot of plants go with the larger diameter main line.

This is a really nice setup. I have bought two. A friend saw mine and has ordered two as well! Really good value on a quality product!

I received a kit and several additional components to do a very large bed. The product is high quality and nicely package reflecting the manufacturer pride in their product. I needed a part that was not offered individually and reached out to Carpethan. They responded quickly and went above and beyond to accommodate me. I will continue to use this companies product as I expand my irrigation system.

Very easy to install and kit includes adapter to typical garden hose. The irrigation heads are adjustable with a range of barely dripping to a good soaking. Great system! You can install most of it with a pair of scissors. I would recommend garden staples to secure tubing to avoid trip hazards. Also it is helpful to order a battery operated automatic watering valve that can attach to any garden faucet then on the outlet side of the valve you can attach a garden hose or by using the adapter directly attach the irrigation system. Enjoy!

I made an auto water system for my chickens using a rabbit concept. This worked great for this. Product easy to use and I used some for a bird fountain system. Just use a lighter or heat source to soften to maneuver over connections. Firm material and came from seller very fast.

I like that it is thick walled. This poses some difficulty when cutting with a blade but a pair of heavy scissors or angle cutters make easy work of it. The one downside is that it will expand from heat or from freezing water in the connection. The expansion persists and the seal is lost. This might not be the only cause of seal failure but I haven't tested them in a temperature controlled environment. They definitely block light to impede algae growth on very sunny days. I'd buy it again for that alone. I strongly advice the use of friction clamps if used on barbed fittings outdoors.
