I love the packaging that the Helicore strings come in. Very easy to switch out the old ones and install the new ones. Depending on how often you play, you should be changing your strings 2-3 times per year. These are very durable which makes them feel and sound like they can last longer than most strings. I look forward to ordering these again!

I got this string as an emergency backup before a jury. Installing it went as it usually does, and I had no issues with the string's overall build. I'd recommend purchasing this as a set rather than an individual string, because of how bright it sounds in comparison to most other string brands. It might be effective for playing solo Bach, but for most 20th-century viola music or any orchestral music post-18th-century, another brand would likely work better. Noticed a very slight buzz, but it's possible that that was due to my viola and not the string itself.

Sehr gut gefallen hat mir, dass die Zustellung der Helicore Violasaiten super geklappt hat. Mir gefällt ebenso sehr gut der Klang der Violasaiten .

The original cheap strings on my vintage viola were breaking right and left, so rather than driving 1 1/2 hours to my closest luthier, I decided it was time to learn to replace the strings myself. These D'Addarios are great for an adult beginner like me - a definite step up from what I had before. They sound so good to my ears and have held up so far.

D'Addario Helicore Viola string Set, Medium... Cost $50.... something. Jzzzz , checked out all the string sets and they were all high. These strings have a nice warm sound and feel great on my hands. I'm mainly a violinist and since I'm no spring chicken anymore, I need a string that is user friendly, these fit the bill. You get your moneys worth and not only is the sound warm, it's also strong. I recommend.

These are the Helicore Heavys. Really great strings. Much fuller sound vs the medium tension. E string is not fabulous.

These strings allow a inexpensive instrument to produce a decent tone. The price is fairly high and when you factor in having to pay someone to mount them. It may not be worth is on a cheap instrument. For us, it was a good decision, I changed them myself, (look online for detailed instructions) and our instrument was decent enough to make a difference. If you looking at this scale length then your mostly likely upgrading sizes often. I've found a few decent sources for nice student instruments on Ebay. Just don't go really cheap, for $200-250 you can find decent instruments that would cost $600-1200 from your local shop. I'm in favor of supporting local businesses but when you need to upgrade so often it can get expensive. Once your player stops growing then you can spend some serious $$ locally to have a professionally setup and maintained instrument.

ce n'est pas un jeu de 4 cordes, mais une corde uniquement ( Ré ). ce n'est pas évident de jouer avec une seule corde. qualité pas essayée, retour direct.
