I received this pen yesterday. I read the reviews while waiting for the delivery regarding the pen not coming with an ink cartridge and the pen cap not posting. Mine came with two cartridges and the cap posts nicely and doesn’t even come off when I shake the pen around. So either cross responded to these reviews (though one was just two weeks ago?) or there is wide variability in quality of pen and packaging. Either way I’m very pleased with this purchase!

I love Cross pens. I love the way these pens write, the weight of the pen is balanced and very comfortable to use. I have given some as presents and my friends have really liked them as well. Can't go wrong with a Cross pen.

I bought this fountain pen purely on a whim because I liked its appearance and the price was good. I have two older Cross Bailey fountain pens with different finishes, and they are good pens, so I had a good idea of what I was getting.Writing with this pen was a pleasant surprise: the fine nib is very smooth - more so than most of Cross's 14 karat gold nibs, and the ink flow was even and steady. While the cap does post on the back of the pen body, I found that I preferred writing without posting. The matte red lacquer finish with black trim gives the pen appearance a subtle quality.Overall, this is an excellent pen that looks and writes like much more expensive models!

I last used a fountain pen in 1974, when the climate was cool and kids' haircuts were cooler.Gave this red Cross pen as a gift to myself, and I am not disappointed.Decided to go with black Waterman ink as opposed to cartridges. The pen has a good grip, writes smoothly, definitely representing a medium nib that flows well on paper. It's solid and on the heavy side. The black nib isn't as cool-looking as the 18k ones but it's at a great price point. Overall I am very happy!I bought other pens as well to test a variety of writing results and this is one of my favorites!

Muy buen y bonita. Si le pongo dos peros son que el capuchón no es de rosca y que no trae émbolo, aunque se puede comprar por separado.
