I like the look & weight of this pen. I like the fine tip & it writes smoothly (no scratch) but I do get an occasional skip in the ink flow and the cap tends to fall off sometimes while I'm writing (I like to keep it on for the extra length). That aside, I still enjoy writing with it!

Love it, I've learned that just because it's modern doesn't make it better. I love the way a fountain pen writes and how smooth the flow of ink just increases the overall writing experience compared to modern disposable pens. When you find a quality pen paired with a quality ink there's no description for it. This pen is fairly priced for a quality made pen that will last you a lifetime. Not only is it better for the earth because of the less waste you'll produce. Its a more elegant way to write and this pen at its fair price point is the best quality you'll get at this price point.

The pen is ok and is definitely entry level for a fountain pen. It's not nearly as smooth on paper as a name brand set and the ink provided is clearly not archival in any way. Even with name brand ink I find that I don't reach for this pen as I would others. It's prettier than some of my name brand fountain pens, but not nearly as usable.
