This fountain pen is so smooth to write. But the plastic of body is a bit cheap so the feeling in hand is not that great.

I really love the writing experience of a fountain pen. The problem is that now that I am retired I often no longer wear clothing with an appropriate pocket or have a case to carry a traditional fountain pen.I researched for quite a while and finally found Kaweko. Their line of Sport pens were attractive because they were compact enough to fit easily in a pocket, sturdy enough to survive in that environment and had a reputation for writing well and reliably.The only problem became choice, too many of them.They have Sports in Brass, Aluminum, carbon fiber trimmed and seemingly endless variety in their plastic/resin version with prices running from $15.99 on sale to around $100.00.Being of modist resources I selected a Skyline Sport in Mint.It is a fine little pen. Of the many attractions the whole thing comes apart easily for complete cleaning (which I don't do often enough). It uses short cartridges that I refill with diamine inks. These last a long time for me as most of my use is signing receipts. I carry it everywhere in my right pants pocket with my comb. It always writes if it has any ink. It has never leaked and it has been over a year.Other reviewers can tell you about feel and balance, smoothness, ink flow, and stuff that suits their fancy but for me, my Kaweco Skyline Sport has survived the wars, never let me down and is easy to tote around.That is all I need, it may be for you too.

The Kaweco Skyline Sport is a unique mint color. I ordered the extra fine nib and was pleasantly surprised. It delivered a consistently thin line and did not clog— a problem that can occur with some EF nibs. The screw mechanism is smooth and parts fit well together. The pen is comfortable in the hand and very light, giving it a responsive feel. Given the price, this is an excellent value.My only concern was with the shipping. The pen was sent in a padded envelope. As a result, the cardboard box that it was contained in was smashed. Luckily, the pen made it unscathed. Ideally, it should be sent in a box rather than a padded envelope.

This is an excellent size for keeping in your front pocket, which I do. The color is very pleasing. It writes with acceptable ease as long as you use it regularly. If you're an irregular or infrequent pen user then you may need to rinse and dry the nib to unclog it. Otherwise this has been great for the price. It has not leaked in my pocket, and has withstood banging around with my keys for a month or more.

New to fountain pens and Kaweco is my favorite. I love them. Good assortment of ink colors. They write smoothly and evenly. No scratch. Size is perfect and very comfortable to write with. They come in great colors. I have an assortment so far: dark blue, aqua blue, red, macchiato, frosted orange, lilac. The performance and quality is so good I am sure I will purchase more because I am addicted now. 🥴

No me gustado la presentación de la pluma, como se puede ver en la foto, metida en una bolsita de plástico, hace un mes adquirí una Lamy Safari y venía en su caja de cartón original. Kaweco debe cuidar estos detalles, sobre todo a quienes escribimos con pluma. Esta presentación me merece poca confianza en unas próximas compras de plumas. El plástico no parece de buena calidad, Lamy se ve más robusta y también es de plástico.

J’ai racheté un stylo de cette marque car j’aimais bien son design, bonne prise en mainCependant, mon précédent stylo plume de cette marque s’est dégradé ce qui fait que lorsque l’on veut changer de cartouches d’encre il faut appuyer sur la plume en même temps sinon la partie se déboîte, pas cool pour la plume mais seul moyen pour continuer à utiliser le stylo

This is a great pen. the color is a little lighter than is shown depending on your screen. It comes with a blue ink cartridge inside the pen that you have to activate ( just shove the narrow end onto the sharp tube at the back of the nib and screw everything back) shake the pen a few times to get the ink flowing (make sure you're over paper or something you don't care about so the ink doesn't fly out onto something you don't want it to) and you're ready to write. I like these pens a lot. This is the second one I've purchased. I like the control of the fountain pen and that you can change ink color. The only problem with a fountain pen is you have to use it regularly so the ink doesn't dry up in the pen, but if it does it's an easy fix, just rinse out the nib in water to clear out the dried up ink. If it hasn't been too long just dip the nib in water and sometimes that'll get things flowing again. A nice pen makes you want to write more even. It certainly makes it a more pleasant experience.
