Instructions were not clear for the cat and it when I tried to undo my stitch the yarn ripped. Please make the instructions for the cat body more clear because it told me to skip stitches but there should of been more stitches and it was just really confusing.

The QR code tried to put Malware on my computer when I scanned it. Lucky we have a great firewall that stopped it. 8 bought this on Amazon thinking it was safe to use since this is a reputable site. Don't risk it.

I bought this for my niece who wants to learn to crochet. As a long time crocheter myself, this project looked easy to learn and was cute. An instruction booklet was included, as well as supplies, and there is a qt code you can scan to see video instructions of stitches.

This pattern is not for a beginner. You must read crochet patterns and have made other projects to make this in my opinion. The video was very helpful and I would not have been able to make this without it based on the written pattern. The yarn also is not forgiving if a mistake is made so be careful as it draws easily.I’m happy my Strawberry Cat came out so cute as it’s a gift. The kit had a good hook compared to other kits and plenty of yarn and fill. The eyes were snap in and pattern did not specify placing them as video said to glue them on once car was finished so beware and snap in eyes before body is made.I

And bargain priced! A similar kit at my local yarn shop was over $45! Im not a beginner but ive never done anything complex. Some of the instructions were a bit confusing but i got through it with some help from youtube. My kid loved it immediately! The only down side was that the instructions for the bear legs were had one typo (it said 18 stitches instead of 10 which threw me off a little). And the yarn was a bit cheap and as a result the fraying was annoying at times. That said, it was a great started kit at a great price and the results are super cute!

My Crochet Kit for Beginners arrived without any issues. It was packed well and came with 2 instruction booklets, yarn, white stuffing, a crochet hook, black eyes, plastic needle, and a bag of tiny plastic knitting markers.First Impression:The kit's thoughtful design and attention to detail are evident. From the cute packaging to the included tools, everything seems well-prepared for a beginner. The yarn is soft, and the crochet hook has a comfortable rubber grip. Overall, I'm pleased with the quality, which strikes a good balance between affordability and durability.Instructions:I am completely new to crocheting, so opening the first manual was a bit overwhelming. The first page is full of abbreviations, and the more I dive into the instructions the more overwhelmed I got. I immediately felt like this project might be out of my depth and more suited to someone with at least a basic understanding of crocheting. While the basic crochet instructions included full-color step-by-step pictures, I found the video tutorials to be more beneficial. Even so, the pace was sometimes too fast, and certain steps were difficult to see and understand. I often had to pause and rewind the videos. Additionally, the robotic voice and straightforward narration lacked the extra commentary and detail that would have been helpful for a beginner.Crocheting:I decided to abandon the written instructions and dive into the project video on YouTube. However, even with the visual aid, the first few steps were incredibly challenging. I found myself constantly pausing and rewinding the video, and the fuzzy yarn made it difficult to see my stitches clearly. It kept knotting and/or pulling too tight, and the fuzz would sometimes fall out in tuffs and leave divots on the string. It made for a frustrating first-time experience. After several restarts, I finally managed to complete round 1/the magic ring, but then promptly got stuck again. The next step was unclear in the video. I couldn't see where to insert the hook, and my attempts at round 2 were unsuccessful. Feeling like I was doing everything wrong, I decided to stop due to the mounting frustration.Final Thoughts:While I appreciate the effort put into creating this kit (and videos!), I found it to be a bit challenging for someone with zero knowledge of crocheting. The combination of complex written instructions and a less-than-ideal yarn made the learning process frustrating. However, with more practice (with perhaps a different type of yarn,) I believe I could revisit this project in the future.
