I've been wanting to learn how to crochet. This seemed to be a nice kit to start out with. It was a budget-friendly way for me to see if it's something I'd like to do. The tools seem to be good quality and the yarn is pretty soft. I can't really comment about the yarn quality as other reviewers have - but it worked for me. Another plus - my daughter wanted to give it a try too - so it's been a good experience for both of us.

The needles and accessories are great. The bag is cheaply made although the design with pockets is functional but needs improvement. The yarn is nice but a little hard for a beginner.

Yarn pic: on top is the yarn (weight 2) that comes with this kit and bottom is the yarn I bought (weight 4)As a beginner to crochet, it came with so many useful little tools that I will probably be using a lot in the future. For 3 days straight I was trying to learn how to make different stitches with the yarn in this pack. It felt impossible, especially because the yarn was a bit small and kept splitting and confusing me. I bought yarn for $4 hoping that maybe I was struggling so much because of the yarn and not because I suck.. and the new yarn never split, I was finally able to learn!If you plan on buying this, get some other yarn as well! I would recommend a weight 4 yarn, since this one is weight 2. Overall the pack is very cute and comes with everything you would need as a beginner I would say.

The needles are amazing multiple sizes, I bought it because I left my tools at home with mom.This one has vary large set of sizes, other tools I've never used, will learn.The yarn isn't as bad as they say in the reviews, it's good, not too quality but good, and stretchy,For this kind of yarn you need to use at least size3 or 4 needle to hold all the line together, less than that it will start to fall apart.I'm satisfied with the price and quality.

This is a very nice crochet kit but it is a bit smaller than I thought it would be. I guess I need to get out a ruler and see what sizes things are actually before purchasing them.The kit has all that you need to start crocheting, plus a few items that beginners would not usually need. It is a whimsical pattern and will hold most of your smaller pieces like hooks, needles etc. There is no room for yarn really.
