Great bag, easy to fill up, no chemical smell or taste to the water looks sturdy; but somehow mine started leaking after 2nd use right at the point where the round opening meets the bag; so when I tried to run the water thru my Sawyer, the leak would be dangerously run down the filter. Fortunately I had a small hose and a tape to mitigate that since it happened in the middle of the backpacking.If own one may not be a bad idea to reinforce that area with some tape prior the trip.Update: cnoc contacted me to replace the bag ; super nice people; actually not a big deal, its a bag in harsh environment , leaks are possible; , I am getting one more bag for my next trip;

Tired of standing over a creek trying not to fall in while you’re tried and thirsty? Well this bag makes it simple. Fill, attach filter and drink away. Great product! Smart design!

Super happy with this purchase. Had it for a few months and took on a few trips. Seems super durable, works well with life straw and sawyer filters.

In backpacking, water is a huge issue. Smart water bottles are eclipsing Nalgene as the preferred method of carrying water. But Smart water bottles have a shortcoming when it comes to shallow water sources. What the CNOC has which corrects this is the ability to open the entire bottom to fill it faster. It also holds 2-3 liters which allows you to carry more water between water sources. It also allows a water filter to be attached so that you can purify water by hanging the bag. Lastly it is light weight and durable. The perfect water cell.

I use this with a Sawyer squeeze and it is by far the most effective, convenient and fast ways of filtering water in the backcountry, I use an orange pouch for dirty and blue for clean water.The wide opening of the pouch is so much easier and faster to fill than others, very durable pouch and easy to use with a Sawyer squeeze if you get the bottle adapter

Use this when backpacking. It's the best solution I've come across. Flexible yet strong. Be sure to filter your water into your potable water store of choice, as the plasticy smell of the bag can leach into water that's left in it after a few hours. Probably won't kill you, but not pleasant. I imagine the smell may go away after numerous uses, but it's still present in mine after thorough washing, freezing with diluted lemon juice, and multiple week-long trips. Regardless, just filter immediately and you won't have an issue.

I like the robustness of the water bag and ease of filling it with water. Personally I connect a Sawyer water filter to it and the CNOC 2 l waterbag saves a lot of running back and forth to the water.

I used this for a few weeks on the Colorado Trail. I have to say this bladder is very popular! I saw a few of them. Way better than the typical water bladder. I never once had difficulty filling it with water. On a full good flowing stream or river, you can collect 2L in seconds! If you just find a trickle, the trick is to find, or make, a little waterfall. Even if it's only 2 inches high. Put the open end of your bag under that, and before you know it, you got plenty of water to filter. Easy to clean, easy to dry out, easy to collect water. This will now be an important part of my gear when hiking or biking. Especially in the Backcountry.

I've owned and used the original blue cnoc, and it is solid. I thought I'd add the orange updated version. The difference between the two is the cap strap on the orange. My orange had a pinhole under the hard cap that was only noticable when the Cnoc was squeezed to filter. (i requested an exchange, Cnoc approved an exchange quickly). The bag is perfect for gravity filtering through a Sawyer Squeeze. Use the Cnoc as your dirty water bag. Get the Sawyer inline kit to add a second bottle attachment. Attach the two blue bottle attachments to a 4" piece of your gray Sawyer hose. I use an Evernew 2 liter as my clean water bag. Hang the whole thing by paracord, I atrached 2 small caribiners to the cord. The whole kit (Cnoc, Squeeze filter, hoses, Evernew, the Sawyer back flush syringe) fits in a 2 liter Granite Gear Air Bag, making it a very small, lightweight gravity filter.I've also used it with 1 liter Platy soft bottles, which fill fine, but the threading is slightly off so some leaking may occur when the Platy is full.Excellent product.
