We are using these bags, filled with water, to hold our pool cover in place. They’re easy to fill and carry.

What is worse than standing in line for a roller coaster? Standing in line for a drinking fountain. We spent the past week attending theme parks and the beach. We took these with us and they worked great.Theme parks: In the morning hours, before it got hot, we filled them at the drinking fountain inside the parks . The grandparents had rented scooters that had small baskets on them, so these were placed in the baskets. We then carried smaller water bottles with us that had ice in them, and we were able to fill our bottles through out the day, without needing to pause our activities to find a drinking fountain. The hotter the day got, the longer the drinking fountain lines got.Beach: Filled at the hotel and took it with us. Refilling water bottles as needed though the day. Husband dropped us off as close to the beach as possible, so that we didn’t have to carry it to far.7 hour car ride: Filled bag before we left home/hotel to refill our water bottles in the vehicle while at rest stops. Also used to wash hands if needed. No need to stop at gas stations for expensive sodas or use questionable drinking fountains.Things to know:They are heavy when full, I don’t recommend putting it in a backpack and hauling it around. Electric vehicles (scooters), strollers and wagons make them portable. The opening is large and easy to fill. However, smaller water bottles with smaller openings are more difficult to fill without making a mess.Propping them open to fully dry is a little awkward and it takes a while for the corners to dry out.The plastic feels thick and durable.Handles on the top are a nice feature. They take up very little space on the shelf at home when they are empty. They will get additional use as we go camping off grid. Pack it in, pack it out.

I was looking for a solution for a way to bring drinking water along with me on overnight camp outs. I have a small cooler that is just the right size to put 10 lbs of ice and all four of these inside it. It makes it pretty easy to bring 4 gallons of filtered water from home. These containers have held up pretty well so far, if I run into any issues over the next six months or so, I'll edit this review. These perform as advertised, there's no flavor imparted to the water, and they clean out pretty easily. I may look at purchasing the next size up of these, but all in all these are a convenient size and weight when filled.

I got these for backpacking. Well, just one at a time. But I like to be able to fill up on water, bring it to camp, and then filter/treat it. Getting 5 liters at one time is great!I've used Platypus buckets for years, but they have changed the design, so they don't work like they should. This product, while not having a bit top opening, is a great alternative. It is lighter, carries more, and can be completely sealed!I would wish for a larger opening, so it was a bit easier to fill. Also, while ok to carry, I don't think it would hold up for long inside a pack. But, also for quick water storage at home or on car camping trips, these are hard to beat!Only 4 stars because of my intended use, (long term durability with hard use) otherwise, a very good product

We used these for a desert camping trip last summer. They are light weight and easy to fill. With water distributed among multiple containers we were protected against one container failing and losing our water in the desert while still economically storing a large amount with the ability to refill. These are not hard-sided, and so I was concerned about possible gear puncturing the bags, so we placed them in a cargo box for protection. Easy solution to protect the bags. Not that I was concerned about a minor event puncturing them because they are thick plastic, but you can't be too careful when water resupply in hot weather might be a concern. A cargo box made a great way to hold them rather than having them loose in the back of the van, and the cargo box is not a dedicated water container and can be used for anything when not used to store the water bags. I would gladly use these for any extended camping trip, and at home use them for a water supply in the event of a disaster. It's a great product. I had considered a large water bladder, but this is less expensive and seems less risky in the event of an incident puncturing a bag due to multiple bags mitigating the risk.

We recently moved to SW Florida which is prone to hurricanes and tropical storms and where losing power and water is common enough to need to be prepared. I ordered these in preparation for Hurricane Ian.We knew that this hurricane was going to be a doozy so I ordered a bunch of these collapsible water bags in case we needed fresh water after the storm passed. These bags are extremely easy to fill in the sink. The cap keeps the water from splashing out of the bag when carrying it. The handles are strong and embedded in the bag. The handles aren’t very comfy, but I was only carrying them from the kitchen sink into the guest bathroom for storing during the storm. The bottoms of the bags are designed so that they spread out and can sit up on their own.We lost power for 3 days and had a boil-water order from the city so having all these bags of water meant less stress. I knew we had enough fresh water for at least a week. After the emergency passes, these water bags are easy to empty and since they fold flat they can be stored in a cabinet until they are needed again. We ordered both the smaller size bags (1.3 gallons) and the larger size bags (2.6 g). The smaller ones are easier to carry around and can fill your toilet tank for flushing, if needed.I highly recommend these bags to have on-hand if you live in an area that ends up with bad storms that could cut off your fresh water. They provided us peace of mind during the hurricane and it’s aftermath. Having these meant having one fewer thing to worry about during a stressful time.

These bags are perfect for water storage when we go camping. We used to use huge big plastic tanks which were too heavy for me to lift and pour. These are so easy to use and can be packed throughout the vehicle which is better for space management. Alternatively we have stored them in the 4wd spare wheel bag on the back of the vehicle. Only downside is that even though I tried to rinse them well prior to first use, the water did have a slight plastic taste. This seems to have gone with time.
