We are overlanders and have alot of kit we take into the backcountry. Water storage is huge and need a durable container to keep distilled water in. This one is very durable and thick plastic and has a great design. It seals up well and dispenses nicely. I also like that it is easy to get a brush in there and wash thoroughly when needed.

I was looking to add a high quality water jug to my camping equipment. This product has gone beyond my expectations. No leaks and a sturdy product.

They are a great size for us older women, since water weighs about seven pounds per gallon. I just bought four because we have three dogs, several cats, and for my sister and me.

This jug works great for handwashing and washing dishes. The only two things I don’t love about it are: 1) I wash the opening to fill it up wasn’t at an angle (straight upright) so you can completely fill it. And 2) the plastic hose extenders don’t stay in the spout too well so you just have to be careful. Otherwise, it works great. Great control on water flow and love that it comes with a cleaning brush.

I already have a 3.2 gallon water jug that I recently used on an 8 week camping road trip out west. It was the perfect size to fit on the floor on the front passenger side of my SUV which allowed for easy access. I’m also a snow bird and I have been wanting a second 3.2 gal jug for my home in Florida for when I want to travel from that location, or a hurricane is coming my way.This GoCampDirect 3.2 Gallon Water Container is similar to what I already have, but it’s actually better in a couple of ways. First, this container has a round turn valve faucet. This gives me much better control over the water flow and allows the jug to be more compact. It’s also much less likely to be opened by accident. My other jug has a spigot/faucet which sticks out and can be awkward when packing and it can be opened if accidentally pressed while traveling. Second, it has a plastic extension pipe that is great when you want to pour water into a smaller container.The ergonomics of the jug are good. I have carpal tunnel, so sometimes I have difficulty grabbing and holding things, and I can also struggle with carrying weight. This jug is very easy for me to handle. It also comes with its own bottle washer. To wash the jug, there is easy access to the inside using the large opening used for filling the jug. The large opening is also large enough for me to insert the pump from my portable shower, so if I add hot/warm water to the jug, I’ll be able to use this for a quick shower.

I have gotten a few jugs over the years and they all had design flaws. This jug had pleasant surprises. I loved that the spout screws on to the backside of the large lid. If you want to attach the spout, then you can screw the regular lid on there too so it never goes missing. The downside is obviously if you get the lids dirty while they are on the outside you don't want them on the inside contaminating your water.The same goes for the flexible spouts. 2 are included which is great just in case you lose one. But the spare is stored on the outside where it is going to get dirty.This came with a really good scrub brush too.So far this is our favorite large jug to bring on expeditions. I just can't give it 5 stars because I'm a germ-a-phoebe. Someone needs to make a sealed way to store the extra parts away from contact with your drinking water. They best thing about this jug is that you can store it however you want and it won't leak. All the breather valves on other jugs I have come across leak, so you have to store them upright. Not this one which puts it ahead of the pack.
