These needles are the finest made, most precise needle tips on the market. The plastic handles that these fit into need some work for better precision when punching, but the needles themselves simply can't be beat. They are super sturdy when used properly, punching near vertically like normal. Amazing quality!

This works like a punch needle. It is not clear in the packaging. I knew what I was buying but some may not. Punch Needle is not traditional embroidery where the needle goes down in one spot and up in another, making the stitch secure. Stitches with this tool are only semi-secure if your "stitches" are really close together.

El producto me llegó con un advertencia y buscando en la página oficial de Clover en Estados Unidos encontré que usandola puedo estar expuesta a plomo y cadmio, decidí no exponerme y regresarla.La advertencia no viene solo para este producto de la marca, son varios así que por favor si van a adquirir algo busquen en la página si es seguro, yo hace años compré mi aguja aquí en México y venía sin advertencia.

I appreciate this tool, but took one star just because in my opinion this gauge of needle should be the one that’s included with the punch embroidery tool in the first place… This is the gauge that fits your standard embroidery floss, so having to buy an extra needle was a bit disappointing.

This tool is basically the same as a punch needle, but it works better than others I have tried. I also found helpful was the Clover Embroidery glue that is applied when you are complete. It keeps the work you have just completed secure and prevents fraying of the thread over time.The product description should state that the glue is required, that would have increased my rating to "5" stars. If a novice was to look at purchasing, they would not have realized that the glue was needed. Their whole project could have been ruined.
