The needle is sturdy and the 3mm thickness made stitching through thicker fabrics a breeze. Good and strong upholstery needle and a much appreciated case. I use these for tufting pillows and passing strings for hanging through soft ornaments. The eye is large which allows use with embroidery floss, fishing line, etc.

Good length and sturdiness. Good size eye hole for thicker cord. The end is rounded, not pointy so it does take a bit of effort to force through thicker fabric like vinyl and denim. Made short work of tufting boat cushions.

Great needle! I bought this for crafting, and it's been a work horse on over a dozen projects. So far it's still remained sharp and hasn't bent or bowed.... Pretty happy with this purchase!

The needle is fairly sturdy (although it did bend at one point, but that might have been because the fabric was too thick). It did the job and was exactly what I required, so I do recommend it, but it did seem a little pricey for just one needle! I gave two stars for the value for money, because I think for that price, they could easily have given us two needles.

Bought this to thread candle wicks through silicone taper molds, and it works perfectly! It's totally scary to have a huge needle in the house, but it comes in a little safety tube, so we're good.
