These seemed pricey to me but were recommended by friends. They are amazing and will purchase more!

Made of exceptional steel and polished the entire length of the needle. This makes the needles somewhat easier to pull through fabrics.

I’ll buy this brand of needles for everything. I use them for embroidery English paper, piecing, appliqué, and general hand sewing.

If you have used Tulip needles before: yes, these are them.If you haven't: oh, please try them. They have such a nice smooth ZING feeling as they slide through fabric. It's your hobby; you should enjoy the experience.

I love this needle for embroidery as it slip through fabric like butter. They eye is perfect for threading without a needle threader and the slim point allows for tiny stitches. This will replace all my other brands of embroidery needles.

I felt a bit like people who said pricier, better quality needles made a huge difference were lying... then I got these. It is a *night & day* difference from my cheap craft store needles. It's so much easier to evenly handstitch my soft toys & embroider details. I'm a total convert. They slide through felt like a hot knife in butter & are wonderful to work with. Will be buying more styles/sizes of this brand in the future.

I'm actually kind of shocked at how much I love these. They are so sharp and so polished that they slip through your fabric like ... like... like some kinda ghosts. Or something. I have a lot of chronic hand pain, which can make doing a lot of the things I enjoy rather painful, and these little needles lessen the stress on my hands to a surprising degree. I'm finding that I can work on a project for considerably longer when I use them. Don't even need a thimble. Anyway, yes, they're spendy, but worth every damn penny. Every single one.
