About this item

  • High-Quality Sensor: The natural gas detector adopts a high-quality semiconductor calefaction type sensor, providing more accurate response times to gas exposure and avoiding false alarms.
  • Visual and Audio Gas Alarm: This gas detection alarm will sound an audible(70dB) alarm and display the concentration level of dangerous gas when the natural gas or combustible gas concentration leaks reach 5±3%LEL, also the red light flashes. This gas leak detector for home lets you know the moment there is a problem, so you'll know when it's time to react and fix a problem. Be worry free and know you did everything to keep your family safe.
  • Detect Various Flammable Gases: Suitable for detecting methane, natural gas, propane, butane, ethane, coal gas, gas oil, gasoline, toluene, sewer gas, alcohol, ketones, and other flammable gases.
  • Multiple Protection Functions: This gas leak detector for home can protect you and your family from gas leaks and explosions. It has multiple protection functions, including overcurrent protection, short circuit protection, and anti-interference protection.
  • Plug and play: our plug-in carbon monoxide& gas detector can be used by plugging directly into the power socket to detect leaked gas. The system warm-up time is about 3 minutes. During this time period, the number counts down 180 seconds, and you need to wait for the display to show 0P (the system enters the working state) before it can be tested normally.

As other reviews state: this detector goes off randomly, and often. It’s no good.

Worked fine for a few months, and then had a scare where it was reading thousands of PPM of some sort of gas? Called the fire department and they searched all over my house but couldn't find anything that would be setting off this alarm. We determined that this detector is no good. Blowing air into the device made the number go up, so maybe it was detecting carbon DIoxide? I don't know, but I would avoid this if you value your family.

An honest review and unless you don't mind plugging in your detector it is worth every penny! I like being able to see the levels on the monitor and well-lit!

I got mine over 3 months ago and it is in our laundry room. It randomly went off once in the beginning when there weren’t any issues so unplugged and reset. Today it went off saying there was gas but there was no gas. There really isn’t a way to test the product, but mine is faulty..

What did I like? The appearance is quite good - and the 118 in my display photo is a three minute count down timer when you plug in the unit. When you plug it in, the alarm sounds immediately for a few seconds to confirm function, then counts down. The mounting plate allows you to lift the detector on and off the three plastic tabs so that you can relocate it, but return it to the wall easily. The alarm is loud and unique - a clear signal that there is a gas detector going off. What did I not like? The ad said (and even the title of the item said) that it was for various gases including LPG (Liquid Propane Gas). The manual does not make the same claim, so I'm not 100% certain that LPG will set it off. If methane will do so, then propane may do so . . . but the ad and the manual diverge on what gases it will react to. The manual also discusses a 12V power supply, but the unit plugs directly into 120VAC. There are some inconsistencies between the product and its instructions.I can't speak to accuracy. I don't detect (by nose) any fumes from propane canisters that I placed near it, and it registered no concentration on the meter.
