Keep in Mind
- 1 original working key is needed to initiate key programming.
- The car battery should be in good condition. Turn off headlights, radio, A/C fan to conserve power supply.
- Don’t install while the vehicle is in motion.
- Only the original remote features will work on the new remote key.
- Make sure that Simple Key is compatible with your car before ordering.

Bought this and had it programmed and working in less than 10 minutes. Saved me $100 from having a locksmith do the same thing (and likely more from the dealership). I highly recommend if you are even moderately mechanical or can follow instructions. You won't be disappointed.

I bought this for 2010 dodge ram 3500. I only had one key and it was going bad. I didn't want to pay a ton of money and I saw a video of this on YouTube and decided to try it. It totally works, now I have 3 key fobs. It was very easy to do.

The install went easier than I anticipated. Within 15 minutes after I read the instructions for the third time lol. I got it right. I did have to change the battery in the supplied key. All buttons work and it does start my vehicle. To my surprise, I did not have to reprogram my other key. Everything worked as required. Very much worth the value that I paid for it. One thing I do recommend is to print the instructions. They’re a little hard to follow when viewing it off the telephone.

Works as expected. I use it as a back up. 2016 Ram 2500 with a manual transmission. The instructions were for an automatic but it still worked through the set up process.

Update: tried the programmer to see if it would work. Key doesn’t light up like it states in manual, tried changing batteries as well. Don not buy product is crap and the help center is of no help. ZERO STARS!Only one star because product could be potentially used. Kits locked to a car if it is used! Got this kit for my girlfriend’s car because the key she has is falling apart and she doesn’t have any spare keys. Thought I’d get this and buy another set of keys so she has a spare set and we can avoid dealers ridiculous charges for pairing. Open the box and the tamper proof seal/tape was already popped up. The outside of the box was fine and nothing inside the box looks used and the tamper seal says non returnable if removed so I called the number listed here on Amazon for the customer service for this specific product and both times the call was not answered. Package was delivered today on Father’s Day 2024 so I’m still within my return window but I don’t want to return this thing and Amazon won’t refund me because of this tamper seal being broken. We leave for our anual family trip in 2 days so I won’t be home for another delivery for a month and if they send another then I’ll be in a cycle of waiting and wondering if the kit will be fresh. The other set of key are supposed to be delivered today as well and now I’ve got three keys with no way of programming $150 potentially gone. The key she has won’t last another week. Amazon I’m not sure how you guys handle these situations but have your distribution check these items before sending them out. This could be a situation were someone’s out $100-$160 because of mishandling by delivery or manufacturer and there’s no way of telling who actually popped the tape. So buyer reach out asap if the tapes broken to cover your butt!

Cheapest way to get working key fobs.one star off as the door key portion broke immediately. I put the oem key portion in, and it doesn't fit perfect... so that is why i didnt take more stars off. nearly broke my fingernail. and the latch fell off.bought the kit. it came next day, but was in a bag that offered no protection. it was broken.when replacement finally came, instructions were clear and well written. be sure to read them a couple times before doing it. there is also a video.Have to give them 5 stars. having a locksmith come out is minimum 180. getting multiple keys programed is a great deal.replacement was a drama. i already started the return as soon as I opened it and saw it was broken, but then a paper fell out that said NOt to return it to amazon.I messaged them, and asked what I should do/I want to keep the fob from the broken kit and do a partial refund... I have stuff to do... wanted the replacement next-day shipped but it took like a week. Happy to return everything... but it is like they don't understand.So 5 stars for the product, amazon still does good by me, this bit of annoyance is forgivable , and I plan to buy more stuff from this vendor... just wanted a clear answer if I should return to amazon, to them, or partial back to them.I am about to just do what I want, as it has the least total shipping (return it to the seller sans the fob and get a refund, their special fobs retail for about 40)... but they might not be able to issue a partial refund.
