Was perfect for replacing my old original keys. A little difficult to program but eventually got the job done!

** THESE ARE UNCUT KEYS AND WILL NOT WORK OUT OF BOX. YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE THEM CUT AT THE DEALER OR BY A LOCKSMITH **I bought these when my partner’s key just fell off the fob randomly. Yup, just snapped right off at the base.We were able to program these quite easily by following a YouTube video. However, it broke while the locksmith was cutting it to fit the car, so we never ended up using them. My partner, however, ended up with two more fobs to unlock his car… but not to start it. Clearly a waste of money in the end.

The dealership and the locksmith will tell you that you need to spend hundreds to buy and program vehicle fobs. Not true. Just buy this product and program them yourself in about a minute. You do have to get them cut for your vehicle, but that doesn't cost much. Just don't let the locksmith tell you that you can't program them yourself. They are the same quality as the original. Great value.

I was a little hesitant after reading about some of the problems people had but I though what do I have to lose. I tried to find someone to cut the key blank but they won't do it unless you buy the key from them; what a rip off the replacement key industry is. The cheapest I could find was $200 a key. So I decided to try and transfer the key from old to new. Was super easy. Took me less than 15 minutes to push out the pin, transfer to new key, program new key, repeat. Works perfect and I saved a minimum of $470 bucks. Couldn't be happier. I normally don’t write reviews but I had to as this was such a great value for my money.

Pro: Installing a key bar from my broken remote, in place of the one it came with, this remote worked for me the very first time.Con: It was extremely difficult to install the key bar from my broken remote. Not because of this remote, but because of my broken one. I had to almost force the bar out of my old remote; I didn't want to use a locksmith with this key. My old remote was so stuck together that it took me close to 1/2 hour to pry that key out. This process is better left to professionals. The key is a little too wide for this remote. I made some mistake when assembling my old key bar on this remote, so its key button only locks when it's fully extended, whereas the original key lock both when extended and retracted. In addition, I couldn't wind up the spring enough that it would extend the key when pressed.Like I said, without a special rig to get this part right, it's better to at least seek help with that.In any case, it still works well enough that I'll keep it that way. I have no complaint at all about the remote itself; my car recognized it right away, and it's been working without any issues. I expect that to be the case until the battery runs out, then I'll just replace the battery.

GM charges $150 per fob, I go 2 of these for $20.Took them to a dealer to get the metal keys cut ($50each the cutting was more than these fobs), and my car programmed them by using my original key in the ignition first, then these directly after.Highly recommend these if you have a compatible model.

They were exactly what I needed. I took them to a local key shop and they were hesitant to cut them for me because they wanted me to buy them directly. However, I insisted that if it didn’t work that would be on me and I would not be upset with them. as it turned out, the functionality is perfect. It replaced my older key fob that wasn’t working and all the buttons do exactly what they’re supposed to. And it was perfect price.

The key has the look and feel of a Chevy key fob. However, I could not find one place in my county where I could get the thing cut. I read another review where a buyer was able to swap out their blank with the already cut metal of their old key fob. The problem with that fix is that the new one is very hard to pry apart and parts of it broke when I did so (luckily they are a set of two); also the parts aren’t exactly the same and so now the metal key part won’t flip in and out of the new fob. Desperation made me do it and it does (after programming) function well enough that I don’t think I’ll get stranded. However, I do not recommend this product unless you know for certain that there is a locksmith who can cut your blank key for you. In my case the Chevy dealership doesn’t even have the ability to do it. They did offer to sell me one of theirs for $200 if I could prepay and wait a couple of weeks for it.

Arrived on time and was exactly as described. Key blade was easy and relatively inexpensive to have cut. I programmed myself and it was a snap. All functions work as they should, although function buttons are a little stiff, as a few others have mentioned, but they also appear to be a solid button rather than a flimsy rubber cap so this is not a big deal for me. Case appears to be quite sturdy, more so than the OEM fob, to be honest. Very pleased with product upon first impressions and so much cheaper than dealer.

Excellent replacement fobs and easy to program. I just punched out the pin and replaced the original key so I didn't even have to get it cut.
