Worked perfect. Switching key took a little extra work but did everything myself. Did need a small punch to push pin out. Programming took literal seconds with another functioning fob

I had a lot of trouble programming the key myself because the seller had the battery already installed so it was completely uncharged when it arrived. After realizing this, I was finally able to program it.They will NOT send a battery replacement or cover you warranty if there’s an issue. The quality is not very good, the remote is not responding well when unlocking. I recommend spending a bit more to have a remote that can last longer than 6 months

I really only needed the housing to put the original circuit board and key in. The circuit board worked with this fob, but the old key will not fold and lock into place. We made it work somewhat, but it is definitely not a perfect replacement. Getting these things programmed or a new key cut is expensive.

This remote works great! You have to knock out the pin on your old remote pictured above with a small nail or punch. Wiggle the old key out then do the same with the new fob. Switch the new key with the cut key and you’re good to go. I knocked the pins out and then kept the key in the old fob to start the programming process. Then removed it, placed it in the new fob and then slid that into the ignition. Programming was done in less than 5 minutes. If you use the whole new fob minus the key it fits perfectly. If you try to take new parts and put them on the old fob it won’t work. Would definitely recommend if you want to save some money. New keys from the dealer or anywhere else are over 160 dollars.

This was easy to get cut from our local locksmith, we programed the fob ourselves and it works better than the original. For reference this was for a chevy sonic 2014

This arrived on time and did work but is definitely not the same quality of the oem fob.
