I work on my personal jet ski and use the flex hone to reseat the piston rings. The flex hone is magnificent, and much cheaper than a machine shop.

Works great when you have no cylinder defects And simply need a quick cylinder hone, I used this on my rb block in my skyline. Works great

Ball-hones are unique. They can be a piece of junk OR they can be American Made and work like the are supposed to ... flexible, range of size (3 - 3.25"), and grit selection. Additionally, price for the quality is very reasonable. Did I mention, Made In The USA.

My husband bought this to hone cylinders for his motorcycle. Worked perfectly. It left perfect striations and looked and felt like it was done professionally at a machine shop.

Phenomenal tool! Highly recommend. Their is reason these folks have a corner on the market, it is an excellent product.I used this to hone my cylinders while rebuilding a 1993 VW 1.9L AAZ engine. Worked way better than expected and I expected greatness! Well done.

This hone is a great tool for making the perfect cross hatch in your cylinder walls. Very easy to use even with a 3/8 inch drill. I recommend to anyone who does work on small gas engines as i do.

With a little practice, it leaves a very nice crosshatch in the cylinders. Worked for me with the drill on about 1/2 speed made about 20 strokes in 30 seconds. This will vary depending on your cylinder bore and stroke...CAUTION: the oil squirters near the bottom of the cylinders will snag the balls.
