I was impressed with how easy this hood range was to install, making the setup process hassle-free. One of the standout features for me is the bright lighting—it really illuminates the cooking area well. The manual buttons are another plus, as I prefer their reliability over touch controls. While the hood offers three fan speeds, I was hoping for a bit more airflow based on the specs. It’s not bad by any means, just not as powerful as I expected. The noise level is comparable to my previous 20-year-old hood, so no major surprises there. In terms of maintenance, I found that my usual stainless steel cleaner didn’t work as well since this unit isn’t “fingerprint-proof.” However, an industrial polish did the trick, leaving it with a great shine.Overall, this is a solid hood range with great lighting, easy installation, and a classic button interface. If the airflow were a little stronger, it’d be nearly perfect!

Bought this to replace a 30 year old Broan which actually still worked well but remodeling the kitchen so decided to go for a new one. I obviously have good reason to have faith in the brand and really couldn't beat the price. This unit extends out over the stove further than the old style, has a much more powerful fan and great lighting. I'm 68 and installed this with the vertical vent by myself in under an hour. One of the grease screens was damaged on arrival but I was able to repair it quickly so no big deal. Overall very happy with the purchase.

Easy install and works great. Very pleased with the product. Just be sure you buy some stainless steel cleaner/grease cutting cleaner to clean up after heavy cooking. Fan works great. Lights plenty bright.

This is a quality unit, quite and still provides pleanty of suction, The led lights are very bright so you can see what you are fixing to screw up.

After reading many reviews, I chose this Broan model. The install went well and was relatively painless. This is a replacement for a 20 year old Kenmore hood, and the duct 7" line matched up well. The fan is not nearly as loud as the old unit and it produces about twice the CFM output. It looks and performs well. Our only complaint is the brightness of the lights. After much research, I purchased Smart bulbs and am now able to adjust both brightness and color.

Been using this for quite a while and I’ve had zero problems. Easy to install and it’s as quiet as advertised. It’s loud enough that you’re gonna know it’s on, but it works very well and quite frankly, I’d rather have it be noisy enough that I don’t forget to turn it off. I certainly don’t need to leave a kitchen fan and sucking hot air out of my house all winter because it’s so quiet that I can’t hear it. It’s a possible to move air with zero noise but I’ve experienced many quiet fans that I would never describe as quiet. This is not one of them. I have a gas range and M personally very sensitive to the smell of the gas so it’s important to me that even on the lowest setting, this fan is powerful enough to take care of that when initially lighting a burner or turning on one of the ovens.

Seems to work. The fan takes a while to kick in after pushing the button. I love the light. Much needed while cooking. Only used for about 2 months so far. Interested in seeing the longevity.

Works well. Fan airflow seems a bit weak on low but does the job fine on medium and high. Takes a few seconds to activate and start sucking so best to use preemptively. Still trying to figure out how to remove the lights to replace with something a bit less hatch. Overall very pleased with the look and usability.

We installed this yesterday - to replace a 25 year old kitchen exhaust fan that was also made by Broan. This fan is quite attractive in comparison - the front, top and sides are made of brushed aluminum suitable for viewing. The back needs to be mounted on a kitchen wall - not suitable for viewing. We mounted it with horizontal exhaust; this is difficult to find in products right now. The new fan has lower mass and is about 30% smaller depth. Measurements provided by manufacturer are accurate; this fan slotted perfectly under a cupboard exactly 30 inches wide.4 stars because the metal filters are very delicate - but you can place them in the dishwasher to clean off the gunk and then very carefully return the wires back into the frame. Tedious and annoying - it was the same procedure on the old fan we replaced. Can’t comment on the charcoal filters since we’re not using them. You will need to purchase separately medium size marrettes for joining wire ends and whatever venting materials you plan to use - either a vent pipe and cap for vertical venting through the roof or a horizontal exterior flap system. The horizontal flap that comes with the fan is quite flimsy and will allow mice or small red squirrels access into your kitchen. That said, we just reused the old horizontal vent fap system we had in place.Installation is easier with 2 people; one holds up the fan, and the other feeds the wires through to the inside. If you’re strong, you could do this alone by pre-mounting the 4 screws - provided with the fan - lift up the fan and feed wires through, then slide and slot into place. Tighten the screws afterwards.Totally worth the money! The fan works very well and is reasonable quiet in use. The LED lights are bright and illuminate the work surface of the stove nicely. I’d recommend this product to a friend for home use.

I have a standard stove and they say I could get away with 300 Air flow capacity Cubic Feet Per Minute, however, I bought this one which is stronger and I’m happy I did, 300 wouldn’t be enough,, I recommend this one with Air flow capacity 375 Cubic Feet Per Minute. Also, on the first two settings, it’s relatively quiet, on the third one it’s noisier, but that’s to be expected.

Works well. Lights are bright, like that the 1st power level is quiet. The 2nd power level has some sort of resonant ringing/whistling noise which is bothersome but it doesn't exist on the 3rd power level which I use most of the time for the smelly stuff and has good power. The stainless finish could be a bit higher quality, seems to smudge easily for some reason and doesn't polish nicely as other SS appliances I have.Don't be like me and try to remove/install the bulbs by hand - there is a suction tool included.Overall slightly more power than average and slightly quieter than average. Good value before you get into the pricier $500+ models.

A very effective hood fan, and gets all of the strong food scents from South Asian food out. Was pretty simple to install, might need an extra pair of hands when making pilot holes. Simple appearance, but I like that in a hood range. Price was pretty decent when compared to other fans with similar CFM. I have recommended this to family.

Really like this fan! It is so quiet and looks very sleek and stylish. The suction is very good especially for a gas stove. It took practically no time to install. Highly recommend this fan!
