First one was dented probably by shipping so I had to order replacement. I got it installed no problem. Works great. I had a previous hood from nutone with a stack already in place so I had to build out about 4 inches to get it lined up with the previous stack. I then used a portion of the flexible stack and used a large hose clamp the make the connection to my old stack. I have tested it and it works great. Sure beats my smoke detector from goung off while frying.

Very easy to install it except chimney parts adjustment but the sticky blue cover is very annoying when it’s time to remove!Optional way to use, good suction, not too loud, no vibration.Very fragile and sensitive surface, super easy to scratch! Carbon filters sales separate! Good item for the price!

Just want I was looking for, very nice but removing the blue film took about 25 minutes. Use a razor blade to cut the inside seems of the film before you start pulling the it off, that makes it easier and cleaner look.

We opened the box and checked it. It was packed well and looks good. My contractor won’t install it for a few more weeks. I’ll update after he gets it put up. I was happy to find a range hood for a 24” stove. The price was extremely reasonable.

This was a great buy. It's a very solid built product. I really like the push buttunes. Because I feel like like they will last. The stainless really looks great. Although. The protective film takes a little patience to get off. It is totally worth the effort, though because the stainless steel was perfect. Very easy to mount and is very sturdy. It even comes with the flexible vent hose that I connected to my outside ducting. I would definitely recommend this product.

Hood has a nice look and looks well made. Removing the plastic was a royal pain as other reviews point out. And it just stopped working. I don't see anything here on Amazon to contact the customer service for this manufacturer so I might as well have to take loss ....

Overall, it’s a nice fan. Sucks air and looks nice. The blue protective film everyone complains about was a bit of a pain to get off but nothing that hard. The one negative is the light. It’s extremely blue, harsh, and only at the back of the unit so it doesn’t light up a lot.

After getting an indoor air quality meter and realizing how bad the air got when cooking, I decided we needed to add a kitchen vent fan to our yurt. Installation was a bit complicated by the curved and insubstantial lattice wall, but the unit itself is really easy to put up. You first mount a little bar with hooks, then the hood just hangs on those and gets screwed in place down below the hooks. I ended up putting up a piece of plywood behind it to get a flat surface to mount it to.It does a great job of venting, and the little LED light is helpful. Not terribly bright, but good enough. The pre-wired cord is nice to just be able to plug it in and not have to deal with wiring it.My only complaint is that all the metal parts come covered in blue plastic film. I know it is there to protect the finish, and it does look nice and shiny when you peel it off, but... The film wraps around into all the seams, so it gets caught and leaves little ragged bits that I couldnt seem to completely remove. Maybe there is a good way to deal with it, but I think I would have preferred a few scratches.
