As a mechanic who has always just used a pry bar, this thing makes removing hangers a breeze. I don’t have to deal with finding a leverage point anymore prying on them; with a little lubricant most hangers pop right off. The only thing to watch out for is I have relatively large hands as a 6’3 man and when the handle is spread open you’re probably gonna be using two hands to compress it. It opens wide. Also clearance-wise if the tip of the hanger is pointed to towards another object you’re not fitting these without having like 3-4 inches of room. Mechanics: for 15ish dollars it’s a no brainer to have a set of these in your toolbox. They work and really aren’t highly stressed to where you need a 150 dollar set off the tool truck. You’re not gonna break them twice a year, if you do you can buy 10 of these for the same price.

Works well but seems a bit cheaply put together. Welds are not amazing on tool but it does work as advertised

I've made adjustments and installed multiple exhausts on my truck so far. At first, I didn't have this tool and used basic garage tools and force to pull the hangers off. Got tired of doing that and finally ordered this tool.It saves so much time and effort! Used the tool several times now and it's holding up fine. Definitely worth it!

These are great !!! you might need 2 hands to use it but for the price save yourself some head ache and use the right tool for the job. These make quick work on exhaust work

I used this exhaust hanger tool while working on my older muscle cars. The tool is formed precisely to fit over the exhaust hanger and provides the leverage necessary to push retainer pins through the hanger to release the exhaust pipe.The handles of this tool are rubber coated to make them more comfortable. The handles are long enough to provide good reach and leverage. 5 stars!This tool is adaptable to any situation where a retainer pin must be pushed through a slot.

I bought this tool to use during our exhaust install, and man, what a game changer! It was such a challenge before with pliers and WD-40, but when you sub them out with this tool? It makes the price value worth it for how quick and effortless easy it was. It's a good investment, even if you don't use it often.

I got this tool to remove a particularly stubborn exhaust hanger that wouldn't come off with anything and if it didn't work i was seriously considering getting my angle grinder and cutting it off, but then would need to purchase another hanger and potentially damage the bar while cutting the rubber, so knowing by unfortunate experience that cutting stuff close to chassis parts isn't a great idea, i ordered this tool.I sprayed the stubborn hanger, let it soak for 5 mins, put the tool in place and it just came off with very little effort, i wish i had invested in the tool before, because i wasted at least 1 hour of my life and hurt my fingers trying to take that hanger before, so work smart, not hard and if you're in the same place, just order the thing and thank me later :)
