I expected a better compound gauge with this set since it was from Lang who also makes this kit for the tool trucks. The cheap guage was not set to zero and did not have an easy means to center the needle like most guages. I decided to perform this adjustment by first removing the attached hose. I then removed the clear plastic bezel by tapping it on the edgle with a plastic pry bar. Next, I removed the two philips screws from the rear of the guage and removed the innards. Adjustment was then made using a small needle nose pliers and gently bending the needle spring in the direction to center the needle on the guage display. Everything was then reinstalled and the guage is now perfect.Overall, this is a decent set due to the fittings and adapters included in the kit

Only used once but seemed to work fine showing only a few pounds of BP and upon increasing rpm a few more. If you drill a hole like I did as access to my O2 sensor is a PITA without a lift, be careful to avoid hitting the overlap point of the exhaust pipe where a joint is which is a bit tricky to figure out as it's inside the pipe. My hole sat right on the middle of that interior overlap (which of course I couldn't see when drilling) so that the insert supplied didn't quite work and I had to tap the hole to accommodate the threads on the hose. My fault there so no complaints about the product after first use.

I bought this to test for a clogged converter, and found it easy to use. You need to drill holes just before and just after the converter. (Hint--use a cobalt or titanium drill bit, and a SLOW drill speed with a LOT of pressure, otherwise you glaze/burnish the metal pipe, and make no progress). The first time I used, it worked like a charm. The fitting went right in and was solid. The second hole though, the fitting would not grab on enough to allow the gauge to be tightened to it. Drilled another hole, same problem. Not sure why it is so hit and miss. Other small problem is that there was no info in the kit to order replacement fittings. Haven'tlooked for those yet. Hope I can find them.Otherwise, well made.
