Important Notes
If the gauge pointer is not at the initial state “0”, the gauge may have been struck during transportation. In this case, the cover can be removed and the pointer set to “0” without affecting the test results.

Good diagnostic tool and for optimizing performance engines. This tool is getting more and more relevant when it comes to back pressure especially between cylinder head and turbo charger. It is easy to use since it has a standard O2 sensor adapter and it easy to read thanks to it's colored areas on the gauge. Comes neatly stowed in a sturdy plastic case.

This tool helps diagnose exhaust pressure issues. Granted, it's not entirely necessary, but customers really like to have hard numbers. You can remove an oxygen sensor and place the gauge in the port. Turn on the engine and get your readings. Removing the oxygen sensor in itself can be used in the diagnostic process. If the engine breathes better, obviously there's an issue. This gauge reads that back pressure and you can give your customer some hard data instead of saying "hey, it ran better when I unplugged it".

Still trying to figure out the rough idle and occasional stalling on the '88 Sunbird Turbo. Right now, I've narrowed it down to a few things. I've always thought about getting a set like this to check exhaust flow. I was suspicious of a bad 0-2 sensor, this gauge confirmed no obstruction and pointed me to a faulty new sensor. So glad to have this handy kit. I recommend it.

Great tool to have on hand.When your car won't get over "X"MPH without bucking like a wild horse, this is the go-to tool to check for clogs in your exhaust system..Especially useful for oil burners that rapidly clog cats and mufflers.

Tested and gives a reading, my next actions are up to me now and we'll see I guess haha. Nice diagnostic tool, especially for performance tuning. Using on a turbo car so also helpful for other measurements. Tried it with a harley and blew the bung right out of the pipe the first time so watch out for that. Otherwise good tool if used properly.

Arrives in a decent plastic case with plastic and metal hinges. But there is no label letting people know what's inside, so you will need to label it.The tool itself, looks solid and doesn't have any signs of being cheaply made.The quality for about $30 is good. This would be good for someone who works on cars as a hobby.

It’s not a pro kit by any means, but it’s a good value for what it is. If you need to check vehicle efficiency on the cats, then get this. You will be able to see if you have a back pressure issue or anything. It’s a basic gauge but it works well and comes with the adapters you will need for testing. I also like that it comes with its own case.
