Nicely made piece. I wish there was a more elegant way of disabling stall guard besides removing the pin from the stepper driver. Better documentation would be a great help, too. Other than that, it works very well on my ender 5 plus with the big tree tmc 2209 stepper drivers. Great bang for the buck. Would buy again, but be advised, this is not for the faint of heart... this will require time and patience to make it work for the first time.

Perfect upgrade for my ender 5 plus. All the information needed for setup is on their github page. My printer is now silent. I never minded the noise but the other people in the house appreciate it. I did have a failure after 3 months but their support was quick to reply and they are sending me a replacement.

I’ve been pretty happy about mY main board. The usb has been working off and on this week and I plan to reach out to Big Tree Tech customer support. But, after I pulled my SD card out to flash a new marlin onto my board. My SD card needed to format to work. in my laptop. I formated the card as requested and copied the build. I booted my printer resulting in no usb and no tft35 connection. I’ll try another SD card. But, my bltouch self tests and the leds on the board look good.

Wish I had something positive to say about this thing. Two in a row that I cannot get the take firmware. I've done similar upgrades on different boards and never had a problem . Almost like bigtreetech forgot how to install a bootloader

I bought on Anet A8 kit as a gift for my wife. We assembled it together and the first prints were pretty awful but we were proud of our accomplishment. Then I went to plug it into my PC to update the firmware (to remove the well known fire hazard) and there were sparks! The A8 board was leaking 12v on the USB jacket straight to ground as soon as it touched the grounded PC frame.Needless to say I needed a new control board. After some searching and youtube (crosslink channel is great) I landed on the BTT SKR series. I chose the 1.4 turbo. It was pretty straightforward to get wired and set up and flashed with Marlin 2.0. Print quality is great, steppers are near silent with the 2209 drivers, and it has all the memory and CPU power I could possibly want to play with features. The display is also great looking and handy. I highly recommend this board as an upgrade for an old 8bit board. The crappy stock A8 now has a bunch of printed upgrades, a new flatter aluminum Y carriage plate, glass on top of the bed, and a BLTouch auto bed level sensor (which works flawlessly with the SKR 1.4 turbo). It’s made a world of difference, the prints are practically perfect and it was a fun project to hack together with the SKR driving it all.
