So it looks like what I ordered. I find it difficult to put together to use it. At this point it might be me but attaching the blade to the grater part seems damp well impossible. I haven’t used it yet because of this.

I bought this mill to make tomato juice and sauce. The box looked fine when it got here, but as soon as I opened it I knew right away it was junk. The metal is super, SUUUUPER thin. I don’t trust that it’s actually stainless at all. The mesh discs that go in the bottom don’t fit, and after one turn the handle pops out of entire assembly. There were no instructions as well.Save your money and spend a little more on a better piece of equipment.

Very poorly constructed. Handle cannot be tightened down-bolt for handle seems to be stripped. The turning mechanism is very hard to turn and the cross bar holding the crank is quite unstable.

I had high hopes this food mill would live up to the original food mills i remembered my mom using. It did not. I attempted to make applesauce using the food mill. I usually peel, slice, boil and then use my food processor to finish it off. I wanted to eliminate the peeling of the 🍎 apples and reduce waste so I decided to invest in this particular food mill. It didn't go well. The food mill was not deep enough. I could place maybe 1 apple in the food mill. Attempted to place a larger amount and the food just came over the sides and into my strained food bowl. The food mill did not do a good job of grabbing the apple pieces. I ended up putting the cooked apples in the food processor to get it in small pieces so the food mill would even strain the sauce and separate the peels from the pulp. It was a messy mess. I wanted to salvage my 8lbs of apples but ended up with lots of small pieces of peel, core and seed in the sauce 😫.The product is very light weight, the small crank handle is slippery and just uncomfortable to grip. I would not recommend this product.

After we moved and my wife figured out that she had thrown out her 75 year old grinder she didn’t think she could replace it. This one fit the bill.

Just b what I was hoping for. I had an old family one we used for making jam, made before the '30's Depression, steel and tinned. Got left behind in a international move. The new masher is the closest I seen to my old one. Nice and heavily built in SS. I would give a five star but the handle was not properly welded and fell off first use. They were great on returns, pick-up at the house, printed a shipping label for me. I had a new one in 5 days . Great product and great Amazon prime service!

The instructions are a bit hard to read, but one you figure it out (like which way is up for the disks), then it should be simple to put together. However, putting the handle on is a bit difficult. As you try to hook up both sides, it scrapes the edges and you have to really push to attach it in place. Then, when you use the mill (I was making applesauce), it turn okay, but isn't heavy-duty at all. I am not sure how long this would last without breaking if used extensively. It is fine for my limited needs now, and at least the price was right.

This is the 1st time I am writing a terrible review for an Amazon recommended product. The product arrived on time and "looked great". It assembled exactly as the instructions said.I was really looking forward to making the 'from scratch' tomato sauce from Ava that appears on the You Tube channel Pasta Grammar. I cleaned and cooked my batch of tomatoes like she said to do. They were warm and nice and soft. Ready to go through the mill. But literally the first time I used it, the long metal handle attached with spot welds to the body of the mill snapped off while I was turning the crank to mill the tomatoes into the receiving bowl!Really poor quality spot welding, Bezrat! That should never have happened...or maybe after about 10,000 uses.I managed to juggle the mill over the bowl with one hand and finish the batch. The sauce was delicious. But the mill is unusable from this point forward.I would not recommend this product.

I milled 20 cups of persimmon pulp from just over 2 gallons of whole persimmons and had everything cleaned up and washed in about 40 minutes at a comfortable pace. The equipment performed amazing and clean up of all stainless steel parts was fast and easy. I bought another the next day for someone as a gift. I am thinking about buying a third and fourth for others who could really benefit from this handy tool.
