The metal is very thin and very cheap. The bottom also does not stay in place. I ended up throwing it away.

I'm going to be honest, I haven't used this yet, it just came to me today, I will be using this though, and will update the review when I do. This is for my initial assessment and unboxing. I do a lot of canning and using this will help with jams and tomato products, it has been on my list for a while. So, I was excited when this arrived, until I opened the box. It looks like it has been used previously, the blades are all scratched up and there was some kind of residue in the funnel portion. I'm going to sanitize this because the other blades look ok, but my initial assessment has been disappointment. I'm giving it a 3 for now, once I use it that may go up or down depending on how it performs.
