This quilt frame arrived on time and was well packaged. It is exactly what I’d hope it would be. It went together easily, is a great size, and works well for handheld quilting projects. I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it for embroidery and hand quilting project.

Item was received in three days but it arrived broken into pieces. I was unable to use it, however, I can tell you that the clips and the pipes are so brittle that you would NOT be able to use them on a quilt. They said you could open the clips a little before putting them on a quilt and close them a little before using on thin fabric. They will definitely not open or close at all. I tried on one of the ones that arrived in one piece and it is not soft or pliable enough to adjust at all. Returning the item today.

I really like this frame. I am using it with a linen fabric and it's staying in place well. If there is a little slack in the fabric, a quick twist of the clips brings the tautness back. Since the clips dont extend all the way to the corners, I do fold and pin the fabric to help ensure it doesn't get loose. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. I've even ordered to smaller sizes two use on additional projects. 😊

I didn't end up using it. It was just very awkward trying to get my project on it. Some people really like these type of frames. I'll stick with my wooden hoop for now.

I lost my old plastic embroidery hoops somewhere and needed to get new ones. I bought this one and the smallest size of this same model so that I could switch the different length sides back and forth. I'm very happy with this hoop. The plastic slides that snap onto the frame are very tight. This frame actually holds my crossstitch projects better than my previous plastic frame from JoAnn's (don't recall the brand of it). The fabric doesn't lose tension at all and stays tight. The slides that snap onto the frame are rather tight and it can be difficult to get them off and on sometimes. It does take a bit of oomph to get them together. If you have arthritis or a similar ailment, you might have some difficulties at first. I've had the frame for a month now and have been stitching every day with it. The slides haven't loosened up with use.
