I had a 14" one, so ordered this one for tighter areas. Works well. However, if batting is too thick, frame will not stay clamped.

The frame works, but is very difficult to keep the quilt framed in the frame. It’s all plastic, there is NO way to keep tension nor keep the clips held onto the quilt. This would work best for a mini or maybe a mug sized quilt, but another size, not recommend.

Great, but 11x11 is too small for quiltingThis is perfect for embroidery, but the technique I use to quilt needs a lot of flop and space. ( look on you tube for 'thimble lady quilting technique' and you should find it. ) The 11x11 size I ordered just isn't big enough for that.It IS amazing for embroidery, though. This thing snaps on easy, is difficult enough to take apart (you want it secure, right?) and has adjustable tension depending on how you rotate the clamps.I definitely DO recommend this, just get the larger size if you are quilting.

Constantly falls apart and doesn’t actually remain secure in elbows. It’s very frustrating, I wish I could return it. Stick to the original q snap frames

I have never used a quilt frame such as this, but I must say that I have truly enjoyed it. Actually, I am using it for a rather large embroidery project that I am working on, and it has worked out quite well. It is easy to adjust fabric in the frame, stays taut while I am working, and it is easy to handle. Very pleased with this product.

I am working on a quilt as you go hand sewn quilt and this is perfect for these. It took me a little bit to get use the them. Being that I am new to hand quilting I didn't know that you have to leave a little play in that you can't pull it tight in the frame. The seller is awesome as these were shipped very quickly.
