Q-Snaps are a dream for embroidery and cross-stitch. They hold fabric tight without constant adjusting, and the ergonomic design makes them easy to grip. Unlike standard hoops, they don’t cause hand pain, making long stitching sessions much more enjoyable. A must-have for any stitcher!

Just received this frame and it works some much better than the off brand one I originally bought. I like to keep the Aida fabric tight and this holds it beautifully. My did come warped like some other people have said but I found a very silly solution that for reason worked. If you run into the same issue with it being warped try rearranging the pieces and see if you can eventually get it to lay flat. I tried this before using heat and it worked wonderfully. I have no idea why it worked but it’s definitely worth a shot before using heat or exchanging for another frame.

I have to say this was recommended on a blog so I thought to give it a try. Putting this together was easy, putting the cloth on was the hard part. The clips were hard to adjust, they wouldn't come off and at one point I thought I would have to just throw both cloth and frame away. After half an hour I was able to get it adjusted. Hopefully the clips will move easier now, but I wont know till I finish this square.

I've been stitching most of the evening with this new 11x11 qsnap. I love this product! I got the fabric drum tight with very little fuss. I didn't need to get any tools out or ask for help to tighten metal screws down!This product is amazing, easy to use and I don't find myself hunting for holes on the backside like I used to!I hated how when I used a hoop the area i was stitching in would loosen up and if you try to pull it back tight it all falls apart. With the qsnap you just roll back or forward the top guards (snaps) and everything is even and perfect! I also love that the snap part doubles as a holder, leaving your fabric free from oils and dirt!I cannot wait to get more sizes and after seeing a video online, I'm excited to turn a qsnap into a scroll frame for ease with big projects

The Q-Snap frame holds the material for my cross-stitching perfectly taut without needing constant adjustment like many plastic or wooden hoops. I also love that I can mix and match the various frame pieces to create custom frame sizes (eg: use two 8" pieces and two 11" pieces to make an 8" x 11" frame). It is very light to hold, yet durable, and helps keep the material clean because you hang onto the frame and not the cloth. I highly recommend it, especially getting the 8", 11", and 17" in order to mix and match to best advantage.One small issue: when I got the box and opened it, the package holding the 11" frame was already open and two pieces were missing (one side of the frame, and the clamp that went on that side). I e-mailed Amazon Customer Service as soon as I opened it, and within about 7 hours they had e-mailed me back and told me they were sending me a replacement at no charge and I did not have to return the other one. On top of that, they sent it overnight express. I greatly appreciate the excellent customer service on this matter.

Let's face it, hoop marks are a pain. Who wants to spend 100+ hours on a big needlework project only to have it marred by a circle of creased fabric and flattened stitches? Not this girl, and now I don't have to!There are so many great things about this frame:1.) Rounded cross section. The PVC pieces are 1" diameter and completely smooth and circular, there aren't any sharp edges to crease or distort your fabric. To adjust the tension in your fabric, just rotate the clip-on pieces inward (to loosen) or outward (to tighten).2.) PVC pipe composition. The PVC pipe is lightweight and strong, so your hands won't get tired from holding a heavy hoop, and your fingers won't cramp like they do after hours of curling around a hoop.3.) Square frame shape. If you work on square pieces, the shape of the Q-Snap frames allows you to position the frame right at the edge of your design, exposing maximal workspace for you to stitch so you don't have to move the frame nearly as often as you would with a hoop. To reach the corner of a square or rectangular piece with a hoop, you have to position the hoop way over to the side to reach the very outside of the corner.4.) Modular design. I have uploaded a picture of pieces in the 11" frame at http://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-media/permalink/mo3PP84BBSJ0IIW/B00013MV30/ref=cm_ciu_images_pl_link. You can see that this particular frame comprises 4 corner pieces (7" on one side, 2" on the other), 4 connector pieces (2" long), and 4 C-shaped clamp pieces (8" long). The pieces are interchangeable with other Q-snap frame pieces, meaning that you can mix and match to create non-standard frame sizes and you can add in extender pieces (sold separately). It is quite easy to find the perfect size Q-snap frame for whatever piece you are stitching!All of these things combine to make this a useful, versatile, durable frame that will make you throw your circular hoops away for good! I love my Q-Snaps!
