I am a longtime (30+ years) cross stitcher and have never seen such a difficult to use frame like this one. My fabric keeps slipping and I have to take apart the frame reset the whole project frequently.This could also be the pitiful directions to assemble and use the frame. It’s a picture of the parts and where the plastic clips fit, which there are not enough. I had to put it together by trial and error

I haven’t yet used these as I’m in the middle of another project at the moment. I had one like the smaller one a long time ago but it was destroyed by a house fire 🙁 I lost quite a few cross stitch projects. So now, I have to decided to start more projects. The instructions were easy to understand for both. The smaller one was very easy to put together, but the large one was a bit more challenging 🥴. I actually had my roommate put it together as I don’t have the strength in my hands that is necessary to put the larger one together. I can’t wait to start a new project now!

I love the end result of a firm surface to make pulling yarn and threads through; it makes it so easy to see and keeps the material from getting distorted. The plastic clamps make it snug and easy to scroll the design as it is worked. It fits beautifully on a stand by clamp or bolt. It keeps it so compact and clean while I work. They fit almost any size work between the two frames. I like working on alternating projects with one on each frame. They will last for generations of needleworkers. Highly recommended! K

Works well and gets the job done but sometimes the thread will get stuck on the screw or the screw will fall off and try to get lost if you don't have them tight enough.

I just got this and tried to switch my needlepoint project to the larger frame. The clips are not designed to hold completed portions of needlepoint. Therefore DO NOT buy this frame for needlepoint. It might work for cross-stitch but not the thicker needlepoint. Very disappointed. $50 wasted because I can’t return because my puppy ate the box.
