Works as advertised. Previous tuner was rechargeable and would not charge. This one is powered with replaceable battery. Should work better.

I bought this to toss in as a freebie for a guitar I am rehoming. It's ok for tuning up to play at home but is a little off compared to my expensive plug in tuner. It will be fine as a freebie with some other accessories.

Easy-to-use interface and easy control for on the fly tuning, ambient noise is not much of a problem, maybe avoid screaming babies and chihuahuas...

I jumped pon these since i have multiple acoustics and instruments in genertal, and Bought 2 of them for $4.99 during 2024 black friday! And WOW! What a great little multi-instrument tuner ( It has 4 if not 5 different instrument settings and works GREAT on both my 4 string and 5 string bass guitars when set to the bass setting!!) and I wish I had purchased 4 of them!! But I "Played it safe" in case they were total crap...AAAAND just ordered 2 of them for $4.99 each on sale for Black Friday 2024!.. ( I wish ide just bought 4 or 5!! Darnit!) Each tuner comes inside a larger box that has included with the tuner which is inside of a smaller box inside the outter packaging, a cute little tin with some different artwork on it full of i guestimate at least a dozen high quality nylon ( i think) 0.60 guage black grippy Guitar picks which I like a lot actually! And the tuner itself, while not as precice and fadst as the ones that cost a LOT MORE MONEY... works about as good as ANY OTHER clip on guitar tuner that Ive ever owned... They DO COME WITH A BATTERY INSTALLED!! And they even have a tiney little philips head screw on the battery compartment to prevent it from popping off and getting lost or getting bumped on stage while perofrming, causing you to lose your battery mid performance and saving you some serious embarrasment when your stooped over trying to hunt down the battery compartment cover and lost battery from your clip on between songs at a show!! Seriously,, I am being direct... Ive played for nearly 30 years an dperformed and recorded and etc etc... These Tuners are OUTSTANDING for the money... hell they would be a great deal at $15! They arent Cheap Feeling.Looking. They feel solid and the clips are very string but not going to damage your guitars headstock... They pickup the vibratiions and sound well and are accurate and fairly fast working.... Are there BETTER clip on tuners out there?? YES... are those CLip on tuners cheap enough to buy one to permanently live on each headstock of each of the dozen guitars you may or may not own? ( well that depends on how much $$ you have..lol) but probably not afforable enough, not for me at least... and tbh.. I am way happier with these in every aspect than I was with the last SNARK i bought... Sadly, that thing was a dissapintment for the $$ i spent on it. These are an OUSTANDING Value and a actually great quality product regardless of the amount of $$ they cost!... AND the little guitar pick tins are very cutesy and very usefull! and so are the picks! This is a an amazing Value... do yourself a favor and buy at least 2 if they are still that cheap! You wont regret it!

I have a clip on tuner for my bass at home and it works great. I have a bass in my office at work and decided I'd get a tuner for it as well. This time I went cheap and got this one from AODSK. I figured it would probably work just as well and boy was I wrong. I went cheap and in this case it didn't work out. I'd recommend you stay away from this. It seemed slow to react when I did pluck a string and it was far out of tune. I thought I got the E and A close but that took a while as this thing doesn't read consistent anyways. Once I moved on to the D and G it was way off. When the G sounded right to my ear it said C. To get it up to G I thought the string was going to break. I screwed with it some messing with the settings, removing and reinstalling the battery, turning off and on, nothing helped. Packed it back up and it's getting returned. Tuned my bass back to normal by ear.The other one I bought was a Snark SN5X and it works great. Looks like I will spend a couple more bucks and get another one of these for the office. It reacts quickly and tunes properly.
