I have a heavy duty body weight vest when I was in the Army. That vest had very very thick fabric for strength and durability, although it used/carried actual 1.2lbs iron plates, vest can hold up to 70lbs on its own and for specialized forces/firefighters, the vest can get an add-on of 45 lbs more.In comparison, the webbing and thickness is almost as good. I've also had other weight vest (cheaper ones you find in Wally's that uses sandbags). However, in comparison, the sandbags on these are much more tougher, thicker, stronger and more durable. FOR ALL THE REASONS MENTIONED - THESE ARE VERY VERY HIGH QUALITY ANKLE WEIGHTS AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE

They seem to be made of durable material, I imagine these would last years! I love that the weight can be adjusted/removed. I didn't realize how heavy 5lbs was, until I tried these on my ankles. 😠I have thick ankles and they fit just fine.

Black has reflective white trim. Comes with directions and plastic ovals to use to guide individual 1 lb weight nylon packs into leg wrap, which is made from neoprene like material. Velcro and metal loop seem good quality, just difficult to strap on and tighten. Pair is 10lb, each is 5lb. You can remove individual 1 lb to reduce to 1-5 lbs each and work your way up. Washable. Strap 2 on one leg to get a 10lb work out each leg. Recommend for anyone looking for some weight resistance for walking or other exercise.

I haven't tried these out yet, but my wife had this to say about them:I’m very happy with these adjustable ankle weights! I’m a small-framed female so I was concerned that I would not be able to make the ankle strap snug enough. Winds up that I can easily adjust the strap. The units are comfortable enough to wear while sitting so you can wear them all day if you want to, just keep them on for when you walk around the house or then decide you want to go for a quick run. The small weight bags can easily be removed/added from their individual pouches. Many ankle weights are only 1lb each, but I definitely wanted to be able to add more weight--less when running (slowly) and more when just walking around the house/trail. These are perfect, since they can be adjusted anywhere from 1-5 pounds each.

I had ankle weights back in the 80s, but they weren’t nearly as good as these. Th weights are exactly as pictured and the lavender color is the same as shown in the description. I love that you can adjust the weight to your needs by adding and removing the iron sandbags. This makes them so much more versatile than other brands. They fit any size (I have fat ankles and have plenty of room to expand. They are as comfortable as can be expected from wearing a 5-lb weight around each ankle they are extremely well made and I expect they will last a long time.

I really wanted these to fit, but my ankles are too skinny for the strap length. They just slide down. Bummer! Otherwise looks like a good set of adjustable weights.

This set of adjustable weights are the BEST and I'm so happy to have them. I haven't exercised in many years and once I get the new house unpacked, sorted, organized and have my 'yoga room' set up I'll be utilizing several low-key items such as these weights.* I wanted to get a good set of ankle weights and these will work perfectly. For me, they are too wide to use as wrist weights. To begin with, I plan to wear them at the 1 lb. weight (each) while walking the dog. Then, I can add up to 5 lbs - each - as I gain more strength.* They are easily adjustable for wrist/ankle size with the velcro strap. The way it is designed makes it very easy to take off/put on yourself. The velcro is just as long as the weight strap so there's a LOT of room to adjust.* The velcro is VERY strong and withstood me vigorously waving my hand around while wearing one. lol* They are very comfortable against the skin and caused no irritation. Also, they fit much more snugly because of that velcro strap and it's massive length.* The weight 'belt' itself is compromised of 5 individual pockets that are closed with the same 'super velcro' so no fear of them coming open by themselves during exercise. It was a bit of struggle to get them open lol.* Inside each of the 5 'pockets' is a 1 lb weight. All 5 are already in the pockets. To adjust the weight from 1-5 lbs on each strap all you need to do is remove one of the pocketed weights! I LOVE this feature.Overall, this a quality set of adjustable weight and I am so happy to have added them to my exercise regiment. I need to get a set for my daughter!!! Highly recommend!

Please keep in mind when you see the picture this is with every weight in the adjustable ankle weight. Even my looking at the picture you can tell it’s very heavy, but as you start to take parts of the weight out it gets a lot lighter and for a more comfortable range especially for someone who is smaller like my wife who is in the picture When it has all the weight on it it is very heavy, I am sure you will get a very good workout if you use all the weight.One thing about this ankle weight is surprisingly it’s very comfortable when it is latched on to you. We were wondering beforehand if it would be uncomfortable or if it would slip and slide on your ankle and it does not it stays right in place. Works very well and will give you one heck of a work out.
