These 1 lb ankle weights have a nice design where the weights can move around the strap, if needed. I have an old pair of weights (not from this company) that are just pieces of metal in pockets that couldn't move….and they pinched my ankle bone badly and were not comfortable. These are much more comfortable and didn't bother me at all the several hours I've worn them so far. Yay!The only complaint I have is that when they first are unpackaged, the two weights are stuck together for easy packaging, but it's very hard to tell where one ended and the other started. I tried to gently pull the velcro connector apart for several minutes, but they didn't separate. I got frustrated, and finally just decided to pull as hard as I could to get the two pieces apart. I thought I was going to damage them.They finally came apart, and weren't damaged, thankfully, but they could definitely be packaged differently for a more user-friendly experience. I'm sure the sticky velcro will be useful in the long run, but that first pull apart was quite hard. I'm 41 and not a weak person, so an older person with less strength and/or arthritis might have a very hard time, if not impossible, to pull them apart.Recommended.

SO MUCH TO LIKE ABOUT THESE … I got these specifically to pair with my aquatic gloves and they work exactly how I’d imagine they would.It was super easy to adjust the weights around the band to have as equal weight as I could around my wrist, over the gloves. The description page alludes that you can easily add and remove the weights according to your need but it’s not that easy and I wouldn’t recommend. The come off easily enough, but when you try to slide them back in, it ain’t that easy LOLThe soft silicone feel makes the weights themselves less rigid and it’s more appealing to the eye than rubber and of course, if I didn’t have the barrier of the gloves, I’d prefer silicone because it would be better on my skin.I’ve only used them for about 5 days of water aerobics, but they seem to not be affected by the high chlorine in the pool. That’s winning for me because the level of chlorine in these pools eats everything away!I’m really happy with them and would recommend! If 1/2 stars were allowed, I'd be rating this at 4.5

My Physical Therapist recommended these and I love them. They are 1 pound weights and they fit perfect with an adjustable Velcro band. The weight for me was perfect because I didn’t want to strain my joints; these are very comfortable. The quality is really nice. I highly recommend these. They are cute but they are very functional.

These ankle weights feel really nice to use and are feel secure when on- they don't slide around. Really like the smooth silicone material of the weights and I also like the two-toned colors it has which looks pretty. The weight of 1lb each feels like a perfect amount for me for the purpose that I am using the weights, which is to do leg exercises with it just to help tone body. Very pleased. Would recommend.
