Great but does lose ability to hold tight pretty quickly. Just be careful with weight you put on it. College books can be pretty heavy.

The stands are very well made, solid, able to hold large, heavy books. Only negative is the page holders are a bit limited in the "amount" of book pages they can hold. But rubber bands can make up for that on larger volumes. Definitely recommend.

Bought this for my books while I study.It is better than the previous one I bought(it was a different brand) before that broke up on first use.It isn't for my heavier books which weighs it down but at the low setting it works fine for them. If very functional for the purpose it's intended for.I also use it for my phone or table when I'm bored and watching something, as well as cook books when cooking or baking.

I use this book stand to hold textbooks while studying and taking notes. It hold books securely and is very stable, and turning pages is easy. It is plenty adjustable, holding books at just the right height and angle. I also appreciate the no-mar base - no scratches to the table or desktop. Finally, it’s well-made; I don’t foresee ever wearing it out or needing to replace it. Highly recommended.

Very practical bookshelf! The 360° rotating base makes reading very convenient. It can be used for reading and as a tablet stand. It is multi-purpose and worth the money. The spring design of the clip is also very good, which can firmly fix the pages and free your hands! The folding design is easy to store. I found that the quality is very good and the design is very considerate after using it for a while. I will recommend it to my friends.
