Really wanted to love this product but it wasn't quite right for me. I think this idea is brilliant as I often get frustrated holding a book open when I'm reading in bed. However, when I went to use this product I realized I don't typically hold the book open from the middle seam - I more hold my hand right to the right or left of the middle. So it would have been great if the item was a bit longer and there were multiple holes for you to put your thumb into so it could be a bit more customizable. Would also be great if it was bigger/longer because it seemed too short to hold open a big book - so I ended up having to push down and eventually my hand got tired. I figured I wouldn't be reaching for this very much so decided to return.

It arrived in good condition it's exactly as advertised and high quality unfortunately I didn't take into account that I probably have abnormally large hands compared to most people so I can only get it to fit on my pinky or ring finger which for reading is not exactly comfortable other than that great product high quality probably going to give it as a gift to a smaller handed friend who also reads if you have big hands not the product for you

This is a cute little gift for anyone in your life who likes to read. This little wood piece helps you keep the pages open while holding the book with one hand. It is very functional. The wood is well finished and of good quality.

I have several other models of this holder. They are made of wood which feels kind of rough on the skin but this one is real slick and smooth and very comfortable. Also previous ones I bought came in too small a size and did not offer large enough sizes; I had to drill them out to fit the 1 inch size comfortable for me.
