Heavy duty, very sturdy, works a charm. Make sure you have enough flat near the edge of the table or whatever you plan to attach it to to get at least most of it underneath. It's a big clamp. And it works. Just what I wanted.

I'm almost 80 and it helps to have a book close to my face when reading. This book stand is very well made and attaches easily with complete flexibility to put the book exactly where you need it. The medium size is great for large paperbacks. They even give you tools needed to tighten or loosen the joints, although it comes with them adjusted just right. You'll never need another book stand.

Freed up lots of counter space because I keep my big recipe binder and phone on it. It motivates me to cook! Originally intended for a laptop, for which it would work great too.

All components are of good quality and fit and finish is excellent. Stand can hold medical text books with no deflection or sag.

Product was a great addition to my convertible (sit to stand) desk because I needed a place to write and read 8x11 papers while standing. It is great how it moves around to be positioned right where I want it. Also, it hold stiff/still enough to write notes while using it, although I would not use it to write a long letter. If your needs are similar , get the largest size like I did. The smaller ones are not tall enough to hold paper in portrait position. You can adjust how tight each pivoting joint is and it comes with a wrench to do that which is a great feature and value. Metal and wood is heavy felling and sturdy. The only place this product falls short is that the bamboo wood on mine has been cracking along the back surface after about a month, but it has not effected the writing surface. Absent that issue, this would be a 5 star review. Nothing else on Amazon I looked at compared in terms of robustness for the price, so I will be keeping it despite that cracking issue.

Expect sturdy, well made, versatile. Comes with tools and a spare tightening knob for the mast, 18" centered extension arm that swivels 360 degrees. Vertical or horizontal mount. I set mine up to read keyboard music on its right side, then I can swivel it 4.2 feet (its total extension reach) to its left side to my cello practice station. The swivel joint that actually hold the book is not adjustable and wears out very quickly! in a few weeks of use it wore out and this expensive book stand no longer holds your books without tilting all the way to the left or the right making it impossible to read your book without tilting your head. I should have returned it but I had a lot of studying to to for the last two weeks of the semester. I tried to fix it and just made it worse. It was an utter waste of money. I received it in early November and it is almost one month of use and it s now garbage i cant stress this enough, DONT BY THIS THING!!!!!!

Estremamente solido e rifinito nei dettagli con materiali di pregio... addirittura fornito con chiave inglese non economica per la regolazione dei bulloni...e pure una rondella di riserva... quindi sono soddisfatto per il buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

La taille du plateau est, pour moi, trop petite.Alors j’ai démonté le plateau et j’ai découpé des planches en sapin pour pouvoir y placer 4 feuilles de partition. Voir les photos.Le support métallique est bien. Dommage que la hauteur du tube soit un rien trop petite.Je pense que l’ensemble d’origine n’est pas adapté pour un orgue comme le mien.

We needed something which not only is safe and dependable, but which looks good, too. We've been using the stand since it arrived and it is working perfectly. If another reason to buy one arises, we'll definitely purchase another.
