I always know how much rain we got and my husband doesn’t have to deal with a rain gauge in his way when mowing. This is cute and functional at the same time. One reviewer said theirs faded pretty bad so I sprayed a couple coats of shellac on mine before putting it out. Worked beautifully. Has been out all summer in the scorching hot sun and looks like new.

First unit arrived damaged. Replacement was handled quickly and efficiently. The replacement arrived quickly and is not damaged. Have no clue or concern about it's accuracy. In all seriousness, if I required high accuracy to measure rainfall, would I order a novelty rain gauge?I bought this because it's cute and it will give me more accuracy about rainfall than what I had - which was nothing.I'm glad I bought it and am considering ordering one for my sister.

t's a really great rain gauge! It's really cute and looks good in a garden area. The tube is plastic so probably won't get hail damage (some i looked at were actual glass). It's a little smaller than I thought, but im pretty sure there are measurements in the description that I over looked. I bought a squirrel for my grandma and a froggy one for my mom. They loved them and it measures accurately! Would buy again!
