I really like this frog rain gauge. It lights up at night and it is very decorative. I liked it so much I bought one for a friend.

I measured my broken gauge and eventually figured out that when it says 6 inch (rain) capacity, that's the measure I need and they're the size I need. And it's not glass, unlike several that I have had to replace. I tend to leave them out all winter with nary a thought of their glass-ness.

A round plastic rain gauge is hard to find. They are usually thin glass and break easily. This plastic one fits a special hand made rain man that my adult son made for me. He had put a glass one in the rain man's hand and it broke. I was happy to find this plastic one. It works great.

Have it for a week now and it has yet to light up. Doesn’t have replacement battery area so nothing that can be done. Cute and colorful and rain gauge is nice, just wish it would light up like the picture.

This is even nicer than what I expected! The solar light (a nice bonus to a rain gauge) makes this really glow in a beautiful way at night. The heavy-duty plastic tube has a flat bottom, and measurements start at 1/10th of an inch of precipitation. It's both useful and playful in our yard - we're very pleased!

Cute solar frog. Price point is a bit high for the overall quality of the rainguage and I wouldn’t buy again at this price. It is easy to read, and the plastic tube that gathers rain is easy to remove and empty.It turns on easily and was easy to put together
