I have gone through so many plastic ones. Only(Minor) issue is when really windy (like 40 MPH - Geez KS) it will rock back and forth and make some light noise (Glass on metal in bracket)

My old one is fading and it leaks out at the bottom as it was made out of plastic New ones Fits in my old rain gauge holder perfect. Quality made glass. Easy to read. 👍

Had an older, metal gauge holder that came with plastic piece. This replaces the plastic one perfectly!

When you forget to take in the rain gauge before freezing weather arrives, you will need a replacement tube. This is the perfect size for my rain gauge, and is just like the original.
